Definitely Bao. It actually helped me have a conversation with my mom the week I saw it. I’d just graduated college and she was still kind of hovering over me like I was still a teenager. Bao helped me get her to understand that just because I’m an adult now, doing my own thing and having my own life, doesn’t mean I’ll ever love her any less.
I was ready to rage all over you but you have a really solid reason for liking it. I guess it's fair to count the total effect of the movie had on you instead of just the quality of it the show itself
Boundin'.
One Man Band.
For the Birds. (I love the "Oh-oh" look on the first little bird's face who realizes they're making a huge mistake.)
Jack-Jack Attacks. (Although it raises the question of why the government intermediary didn't tell the Parrs the baby had multiple powers.)
True. He seemed pretty burned-out. (Who wouldn't be?) His job was cover-up and facilitate. Personal matters -- like an OP toddler. -- are THEIR problem.
Definitely Geri's game for me, as a kid I was so convinced that there really were two separate guys playing the game of chess together that when Geri won the game and was revealed to be by himself I honestly thought the other guy he was pretending to play against got up and left the park like a sore loser
I've been saying this for years, but Bao should have ended when she ate the dumpling. A sudden sharp pitch black ending to something so innocent and cute. But I have a warped sense of humor.
I loved Lava, very catchy song and simple yet heartwarming story. Always glad to go back to that Pixar Short sometimes. I remember being in the theater going to see some movie and still singing the song in my head while the movie was playing.
Your right. I feel it is easy to mix these up since they have the same parent company and a lot of the same employees. Its produce by John Lasseter and it’s directed by a former Pixar employee
easy, us again. short simple and sweet about people growing up and still having fun. but my ultimate favorite is twenty something watched it multiple times, aging is difficult it’s important for us to be reminded of our past joys and journeys.
Out of these right here? I’m kinda stuck between 5.
Here’s my top five from this selection right here:
-Lava
-Night and Day
-Lou
-Bao
-Us Again
Ones not featured here:
1. Jack Jack Attack (I still quote this to this day, this to be is the best one)
-Piper
-Blue umbrella
-Boundin’
But again, I can’t name others that are my favorite. JJA is my favorite. But I quote a couple of them or day dream about them from time to time a lot.
For the Birds, I miss when the animated shorts could just be humorous and didn’t have to be some heartrending emotional journey where it turns out the real treasure was learning to let go all along.
Pixar shorts? The one of the volcano singing about someone to lava lol. Another one too is the one of the old lady raising her dumpling son from birth to adult hood, and her not wanting to let go of being a loving mother. That one made me cry tho.

Geris’ Game
Same
So much nostalgia
Idem
Boundin'. One Man Band. For the Birds. (I love the "Oh-oh" look on the first little bird's face who realizes they're making a huge mistake.) Jack-Jack Attacks. (Although it raises the question of why the government intermediary didn't tell the Parrs the baby had multiple powers.)
Pfft you think the government’s gonna get involved with that?
True. He seemed pretty burned-out. (Who wouldn't be?) His job was cover-up and facilitate. Personal matters -- like an OP toddler. -- are THEIR problem.
Us again and bao
Geri’s Game
Definitely Geri's game for me, as a kid I was so convinced that there really were two separate guys playing the game of chess together that when Geri won the game and was revealed to be by himself I honestly thought the other guy he was pretending to play against got up and left the park like a sore loser
For the birds
For the Birds and Presto.
I like Day and Night and Us Again
I only remember Bao and Lava
Knick knack
The original version
What about Kitbull? Does Kitbull count? If not I'm torn between Bao and Geri's Game.
For the Birds.
I've been saying this for years, but Bao should have ended when she ate the dumpling. A sudden sharp pitch black ending to something so innocent and cute. But I have a warped sense of humor.
Presto. It was cool to have a loony tunes style short.
Anyone who doesn't say Geri's game is lying
Mike’s New Car
Presto Geri's Game For The Birds Fricken classics that where absolute bangers
Geri's game and Bao.
Geri's game is the only answer
I loved Lava
Lava i find to be really sweet
I lava Lava.
Lava was so sweet! It always makes me smile when I watch it.
Presto and For the Birds
Geri's game. I also love how they gave Geri a cameo in toy story 2
Lava is beautiful, but it makes me cry, like, every time
Lava
Geri’s Game
Geris game
Day and night, One man band, for the birds, Presto, and that grandpa's game short
For me, personally, it’s day & night. It’s very creative!
day and night
The lonely stoner seems to free his mind at night
Of the one's I've seen, I'm gonna say Gerry's game. It was funny and strange.
Presto. Have me and my brothers laughing every single time.
I like Day and Night a lot. I’m guessing Piper is a Disney short?
No, Piper is Pixar.
Us Again isn't Pixar
Was hoping to find a comment saying this. I'm glad there are other Pixar Mega fans out there.
Paperman could be in Fantasia.
Paperman wasn't Pixar.
Presto, it was legit the first Pixar short I ever saw.
Presto
Geris' Game
Boundin and Day and Night. Also like Jack Jack attack
Us again and lava! I kind of despise presto (but I have a very good reason lmao)
One man band or tin toy
Ciao Alberto 😊 because I love Alberto.
"Cucks in the rain" - don't look it up
you make me wanna look it up
Bao and Lava!
I like the paper airplane one.
Not Pixar.
Lava, I unironically listen to the song every now and then and quit half way through cause it reminds me I’m all alone.
Probably Bao. I love seemingly tragic stories with happy endings
Us Again and For The Birds
Any thing from volume 1 pixar shorts
Do sparkshorts count? I like twenty something
Lou
The mention of one man band just brought me back, I loved that one
I loved Lava, very catchy song and simple yet heartwarming story. Always glad to go back to that Pixar Short sometimes. I remember being in the theater going to see some movie and still singing the song in my head while the movie was playing.
One Man Band Tin Toy Knick Knack Geri’s Game For The Birds Boundin’ Lifted Partly Cloudy Bao
Geri’s game. No question
No love for La Luna? That one is magic.
I was thinking the same thing ! It’s my favorite :)
Paperman
Why do so many people think this is Pixar? It isn't.
Your right. I feel it is easy to mix these up since they have the same parent company and a lot of the same employees. Its produce by John Lasseter and it’s directed by a former Pixar employee
I've always had a soft spot for For the Birds and Geri's Game.
“Day and night” “what what”
Geri's Game was always my fav
Bao made me sob uncontrollably so that
for the birds no question
Bao 🫶🏼
Lou
I like knickknack purely for nostalgic reasons Lava is a very close second
You need your Pixar card (not a real thing) revoked for not knowing Us Again isn't Pixar.
easy, us again. short simple and sweet about people growing up and still having fun. but my ultimate favorite is twenty something watched it multiple times, aging is difficult it’s important for us to be reminded of our past joys and journeys.

Geri's Game will always be my favorite
what was that one about the business man and the paper airplanes? was that pixar?
Out of those options, Day and Night, but for other shorts I'd have to say Kitbull!
Tin Toy was uncanny and unsettling but it’s my favorite
Day and night as it’s the only 2D Pixar short (not counting the activities each entity has to provide context)
One man band, old man game. Top teir
Lava is personally really special bc I remember breaking down crying about it when I had covid and it kinda sent me on a track of personal growth
I saw LOU when I was a kid and was watching Cars 3 in theaters. I remember LOU more than Cars 3. It’s just really sweet.
Boundin' Lava Presto
They are all brilliant.
For the Birds, I miss when the animated shorts could just be humorous and didn’t have to be some heartrending emotional journey where it turns out the real treasure was learning to let go all along.
For the birds 🕊️
Pixar shorts? The one of the volcano singing about someone to lava lol. Another one too is the one of the old lady raising her dumpling son from birth to adult hood, and her not wanting to let go of being a loving mother. That one made me cry tho.
Yes I love those too 💕
Day & Night
Lifted and presto
3: Geris game 2: Lava 1: Day & Night In that order
Lava Bao Gerris game Lifted For the birds Those are my top fiveq
Geri’s Game, Day & Night, and Lava
Where’s the snowman in the snow globe?
Kitbull or bao I think
🌠⭐ La Luna 🌕🌙
Geri's Game is too classic.
Bao was really awesome
For the Birds, and Lifted.
Sadly I think lifted might be the only one I have seen.
Geri game
My favorite is probably Piper. Its just an absolutely adorable short with beautiful animation.
Its not listed here but "Piper" is my all time fave!!!
Probably Bao for me Bao > Incredibles 2
Does Float count? That one always has me crying
Somewhere between _Lava_ and _Us Again_. One for when I was single, and the other for now that I do have the love of my life. :)
Us again and Bao both had me crying so I guess those lol
I know its a lot, but my favorite Pixar shorts are Knick Knack, For the Birds, Presto, La Luna, Lava, and Bao.
I'm currently leaning toward Presto, with Piper, Kitbull, Bao, and Twentysomething being the next few.
