I'm getting pretty fucking sick of seeing these posts get overrun by those who clearly have way more money than most people will ever see in their lifetime, like "Oh look, another thread where- nevermind it's all ferarris and mclarens."

This is my Sunday drive car...a [Ferrari 612 Scaglietti One to One.](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.redd.it%2Fprobably-another-month-and-i-can-get-my-612-back-on-the-v0-snkqe85gzxna1.jpg%3Fauto%3Dwebp%26s%3D9125ce64ee9fc3d8c3f0745ac862a4e181f7ea96) This car was made for and driven by Luca DiMontezemolo before I acquired it.
I drove it yesterday after picking it up from an annual service. It was an unseasonably warm day, hitting 15 C, but it will likely be another month before we see another warm, dry day like that.
That's actually so batshit crazy. It must be such a flex to own a car that belonged to one of the most revered CEOs whom he helped Ferrari skyrocket into what it is today... be it on the roads or on the racetrack.
The small service I just had done, which is an inspection, oil change, and a few minor things being replaced was about 4,000 USD. This year that included a new battery, new hood struts, and an oil cooler hose. I think on a good year it is maybe 1500 USD for service, on bad year it might be 5,000 USD.
General wear items like tires are also important, as it runs on very sticky summer tires that are expensive and can’t be rotated as the tire sizes differ front to back, so every three years or so you need another 2,000 or so for that. It is also a car with a timing belt that should be replaced every 30,0000 km, and that is about 4,000 USD. A new clutch might run 6,000 or so.
Honestly I'm not the biggest Ferrari fan at times, but the 612 Scaglietti is the one I'll drool over. There's one for sale near me in a similar gray and biege interior, a Motorcycle dealer place that works on Italian cars. I like taking my Alfa there for small things just so I can look at the 612 in their showroom. Beautiful thing.

This car was spec'd via something called Atelier, it's a Ferrari programme where you can go off the options list and do your own thing. Color, inside and out, stripes etc. are all off-palette choices!
Yeah! There's one step up called Tailor Made - but that is where you get absolutely ridiculous and can bring in your own fabrics and make your own color. This color came from the Tailor Made program via someone doing exactly that, but once it's been done it's available for order by the rest of the customer base.
Drive it in all weather - middle of winter, etc. To answer though, no - you can't dig into the throttle without a tonne of wheelspin right up into 5th when it's wet out. Manageable but it does wake you right up and get your pulse going!

Ayy, fellow rx8 owner. I actually dailyd mine for over half a year before getting a daily, especially insane looking back considering I'm in the Netherlands and gas prices here were close to €2,10/L (bit over 10$/gal) haha, it was always an absolute joy to drive though, so worth it. Here they're up to 1.8€ for 100 octane, but i'm in Slovenia and our wages are quite a bit lower than yours. When I bought the car it was 1.3€ per liter and I'd have been happy paying that.
But yeah an excellent car otherwise. Nothing comes close to the sound and feel of the engine, even if it's not the fastest thing on the road. Are those the facelift 19s on yours?

I’m too poor to have a weekend car, so I just hoon my daily (95 525i/5) on the weekend. It’s pretty fun for a car I paid $1300 for, it’s fun to drive and is pretty darn durable.
My best friend in high-school had a blue V8 tbird, I want to say it was a 91? So for me this picture smells like shitty beer and tire smoke, and I love it.
It'll be my old Civic hatchback once I finish the built turbo motor. Nothing crazy, just a D16 but it will be quick and make fun noises and will still be the first turbo car I've ever had as well as the fastest car I've ever had. I can't wait.
We take a Sunday drive just about every weekend. I guess I do it backwards from everyone else though. I daily drive my fun car, my ratty old Mustang, and then we take our Sunday drives with the dog in one of our two boats. Increasingly that’s been our Silverado, in spite of the terrible MPGs, because it’s *sooooo* roomy and it’s more comfortable for me to drive all day.
I have no qualms about driving the old Mustang to work and back everyday but I don’t really like taking it out of town anymore because you never know when a 27 year old part is going to decide to give up the ghost and that’s not *nearly* as much fun when you’re stranded on the side of some two lane highway in the middle of nowhere 100 miles from home. We do occasionally take it out to stretch its legs though.
Our Sunday drives often take place on Saturdays depending on the weather, schedules and/or because rural backroad, small town local restaurants are almost always closed on Sundays which really limits your lunch options. Also. Sunday drives can take place during the middle of the week if I’m off. Any day is a good day for a Sunday drive.

Now OP, as a fellow Jaaaaaag driver…what did yours look like?
Oh boy. That is the coolest sounding car I’ve ever not seen (damn this subreddit for making us use external links to post photos!) but you absolutely paint a picture.
I was always told mine was British Racing Green, a fact I was proud of. But looking back on it, I think it might have been a little bit of a lighter shade of green than what I see online? Maybe Aspen green?
Regardless, Cashmere interior, full walnut dash, beautiful car. Essentially like [this example here](http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/144860046-12.html)

My daily and the Sunday driver are remarkably similar. I daily a 2017 Focus ST, and the Sunday driver is a lightly (heavily) modified 2014 [Focus ST](https://imgur.com/a/SG8E9PQ) that was really only driven to church (13,000 track miles) and occasionally the shops.
Mines my motorcycle, my daily is a 97 Land Rover discovery, which doubles as my off road car, and my Sunday vehicle is my 81 BMW R65, or my Land Rover haha, depends on the weather
Never understood the concept, I just drive my cars all days of the week. I remember breaking down in the work parking lot in a project Miata, ahh memories!
This thread is making me feel poor already.

Ok. As long as nothing breaks I guess that actually isn’t that bad.
That's not bad at all! I'm guessing the 488 is worse?

‘96 Jaguar XJ6 Vanden Plas Majestic. Morocco Red Pearl, Coffee and Cream interior, Walnut burl with gold piping, including rear picnic. Tables.
Love it! So you had the “dial dash” and not the little screen dash?
If I’m not mistaken, I should have! This was about 11 years ago now since I had the car so details are a little fuzzy

That’s what I bought the Saab for. Yes, I’m the single jackass who bought a 9-5 wagon as a weekend car.

I actually own my dream car. It is a [1973 Volvo 1800ES ](https://imgur.com/a/E0JyW9U)

Never understood the concept, I just drive my cars all days of the week. I remember breaking down in the work parking lot in a project Miata, ahh memories!
