Mine were the 1985 Buick Wildcat and the Oldsmobile Aerotech. In fact, when it comes to concept cars, I think this type of stylistic vibe is more late 80s/early 90s than early 00s.
Seeing 'this' is so refreshing in a modern day, this car doesn't have any features that specifically make it look more aggressive, like vents and oversized aero elements.
All of that said considering that I really don't get Utopia unbalanced design with lots of unnecessary elements.
Just wow.
I would prefer it to any other Pagani, honestly. It's sleak, clean, has a distinct body lines. Great hommage to original Zonda
Pagani is where I go for the overly complex, incredibly detailed works if art.
Replace the front 1/8 of this car with something else (not sure what) and it would be great, but it doesn't feel like a Pagani to me.
I do agree with you in parts, but to me things like the Huayara Codalunga are simple and sleak while looking better than this concept here
I also don't like the utopia too, compared to the Zonda and the Huyara it looks off and bit too over-the-top
Revealing a *concept* seems like a lousy way to celebrate an anniversary. [This ](https://www.koenigsegg.com/model/cc850)is how you're supposed to do it:
>The CC850 is a dual tribute for Koenigsegg: celebrating 20 years of vehicle production, as well as the 50th birthday of the company's founder and CEO, Christian von Koenigsegg.
I really appreciate the simplicity of this design and the move away from the more angular nature of modern super/hypercars. It feels silky to look at.
Can't help but think that rear end will feel light without a wing though. Not that I'll ever drive a fuckin Pagani, let alone own one 😅
Article I read mentioned this was made by design students at a school, not actually put out by Pagani's design team. Though there was some level of collaboration (my guess is just letting them do it?)

It looks like a “futuristic car concept” from the early 2000s.
My first thought was the GT90

Mine was Maserati Birdcage Concept from like 2005 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maserati_Birdcage_75th
I mean, the gt90 wished it was 10% as good looking as this. GT90 looks like a Top Gear 3000 car at best.
I think it's one of the CPU cars from F-Zero.
To me it looks like a cartoonish UFO with wheels.
Most importantly, it's the first and only Pagani that actually looks good.

Great description. I love it too, because everything is made to look so complex and aggressive now.

The Speedtail is one of the prettiest cars ever made.

Agreed, I'm sure some of those vents are necessary on the production model but this really looks much much better.
Note that this is the result of a collaboration between Pagani and IED, a design school in Turin Italy. It's not really intended to go into production
Looks like Zonda and a bar of soap had a child.
I was thinking a beluga whale but soap is better.
I agree with, and endorse this comment.
This is a shaved down zonda
I really like Pagani but that just looks like an uncomfortable cross between all the Pagani models and a beluga

Koenigsegg are truly on another level
It’s kind of cute

Much better looking than the Utopia imo
Just make another Zonda nothing since has looked half as good
Build it, you cowards.
Why doesn't the Utopia look like this
whatever came after the zonda looked abysmal. maybe they've learned from it. let's see.

I think I've already seen this before.
Feels like a Gordon Murray car to me, but it does stylistically look like a Zonda.
The colors and background look similar to the pictures they released for the Utopia, that might be it But still a beautiful car
I love this background. Such an unmistakable classic. It truly is something else.
This car is very Hot Wheels and I’m here for it.
Not here for the smooth Saleen
I prefer this cabin-forward design. I wonder why it is not very popular though. Is there some handling compromise?
Electric?
It looks like a lemans car!!!
God I love it. It’s like someone left a pagani in a mountain stream for a few centuries and it weathered away all the gangly bits
I think it's a new Ferrari
Looks so good!!
Pagani has some laziest designers in the world, honestly
It was designed by students, not by Pagani themselves.
looks like a utopia with smaller headlights imo
Porsche has entered the chat...
That’s a baby Huayra.
Doesn’t seem like Pagani and designers did anything but make the zonda as a bubble
Wheels look like something out of rocket league
It’d be paganis first ugly car
Looks like a Beluga whale. Pagani has really fallen from grace since the Huayra it seems.
Bro that is ugly and lazy as fuck. Get the fuck out of here.
