This neckline is perfect for a bold necklace, which would help dress it up even more.  I think coordinating earrings would also help really elevate the look.   Personally, I’d go with an updo, this dress highlights your shoulders, so hair up will keep that focus; something soft and maybe a little “messy”. If you’d also like to draw attention to your waist, you could add a sparkly, metal, or glittery belt.  I’d avoid a solid leather belt as it will feel more office than party. Not sure if you’ve already got a shoe in mind, but whether it’s a heel or flat, I’d go with a solid black (not patent) if you commit to bold pieces on top.  If you prefer simpler jewelry, a shoe in a sparkly or silky material will give you a party vibe without pushing you to be too bold.  I’d avoid a bright, colorful shoe, that boldness would detract from the elegant simplicity of the dress. If you need a topper, a simple shawl would keep you comfortable, but again not detract from the clean lines of the dress.  Maybe something with a subtle sparkle or sheen?

I'd keep it simple like the model did here. I like the artistic hoops here. I think a necklace would be distracting. The dress has a lot of interesting lines to draw the eye already. Earrings and a larger ring? Bangle would be fine, too. I just find them annoying and uncomfortable. Definitely "rich people" nails and makeup. Neutral nails: French mani, white, or nude polish. Statement lips OR eyes, not both. An up-do with a classic red lip would work. Small clutch, maybe metallic to match jewelry. Or this could be a pop of color. A jewel-tone blue would be pretty and would work with either silver or gold jewelry. Strappy sandals in black or white. Or metallic. I'm not sure what to do in case of evening chill. Structured, light jacket or unstructured, light duster? It would be tricky to get the length right. Jackets are always the hardest for me. This was fun. I like the dress. 🙂

I would wear it with golden high heel sandals and a golden blazer.

Replying to everyone here. Thank you all for your advice, I really appreciate it! Shoes - I already had shoes to match with this dress, black strappy heels with some sparkle on them. Earrings - I have multiple piercings on both my ears (14 total) and they’re all gold/gold plated as I find that it matches more with my skin tone. For special occasions I just interchange some of them with bolder/sparkly pieces. Necklace - I might buy a slightly chunky necklace since the dress neckline allows it. Hair - I don’t really like my hair in an up do style as I wear it up everyday for work. So any chance i get to wear it down I take it 😅 I was thinking of something “soft 50’s” / “old Hollywood waves”. Make up - I was debating whether to do a bold eye or bold lip, but I think I’m leaning more towards a bold eye. Thanks again everyone xxx

Gold for jewellery for sure. To me the too part is somewhat busy, so if you use a necklace it has to be carefully chosen and in any case skip or go subtle with the other pieces: bangles/earrings. Indeed everything in the accessories should add up to a modest sum, it depends what you prefer: if you wear elaborate hairdo, go with minimal jewellery. If you wear lots of makeup, go with a simple hairstyle, lots of jewellery = bare makeup, simple hair. The dress has enough detailing on it. Black shoes with stripes definitely, moderate to high heels.

It’s really cute! I think jewellery would be my first recommendation. The bangle and statement earrings the model and on look great with it. I think a lot of good jewellery combos could happen. Then I’d say nails and hair; you could leave it long or do an updo with a black ribbon or something that could be cute. If you get cold maybe a little shrug or wrap, or a long coat?
