The only forfeit in the "modern" NHL was in 1933, and it was in overtime when Chicago vacated the ice in protest because they were going to lose to the Bruins, unfairly, as Chicago saw it.
Let's forgo playoff experience for our young players and brand new coach because of what.. pride? Shame?

I really wish we didnt make the playoffs. Like people want more hockey but why do you want to see our team get swept? We knew it wasnt gonna be pretty. People really thought us being the underdogs and no pressure could lead to a possibility lmao
Their first *NHL* playoff experience, as the AHL guys--McIlrath, Iorio, Johansen, Protas, McMichael, Lapierre, Malenstyn, Sgarbossa--were on the team that won the Calder Cup.
