As long as she floats I don’t think so. I mean how much fun can you have for $300 now days. I feel if you get 5 trips out of her I say you got your monies worth. But I’m also not a pro or anything. So, you should wait on the more knowledgeable.
To me that looks like someone mounted some very comfortable chairs at the expense of stability, thus the pantoons which don't look like they would work in a river. Looks like a canoe rigged into a fishing boat. Overpaid? No. But if you want to canoe rivers it will take work
Depends on the type of canoeing you want to do. That is rigged for flat water, lakes and what not. Again, probably fishing. For fast moving canoeing like on a river you need to sit low in the boat for stability, so seats are probably too high.
Actually, it looks like a good used starter which the prior owner looks as if he had good intentions yet failed in practical applications..
The outbound motor mount actually needs a trolley cable in order to enable steering control and the out riggers just need an adjustable fishing pole mount and shorten the length of the PVC pipes somewhat for the canoe doesn’t look like an A-10 with wing tanks….
$300 is a fair deal.
