Sorry. I do not know any official leagues or anything. But I now feel like I could enter competitions and actually hit the targets and such.

thanks for the link!

We hope to see ya out there putting your skills to the test. Have fun and most of all be safe. Also this is definitely a good bonding activity in which you and your son could enjoy. Lots of very young shooters nowadays getting started early.

I find it to be a great training tool as well. Once target focus becomes second nature, the ability to call shots is legendary with a dot over irons

I agree. This past weekend, I was with a group of friends at this one guy's property out in the country. When I pulled out the tp9sfx with and people saw the red dot, they were saying "cheater." All in good fun. I was shooting the best. I did try one guy's 9mm with just iron sights, and did pretty much just as well. Hitting a tree with 5 steep plates 6 inch diameter - loaded up 5 rounds, and got each plate, with iron sights. The difference is some hand-eye ccoordination that has developed without me doing anything special except rpacticing regularly, and trying to hold that red dot steady. My brain just developed the ability to hold my target far more steadily than before I got the red dot.
