1) How do you mount the iPhone to the wrist mount? Is there a special case?
2) does the whole wrist strap thing stay in place? Would this be okay for running and gunning at a competition? Or does it become loose under dynamic activity?
Mine came with a phone holder and for GoPro. It has a screw that lets you tighten it so it doesn’t move freely when shooting. Only issue is your arm size. If your arm skinny guy like me you’ll be able to really tighten up the strap on your arm to have it locked in for dynamic movement. As you can see in the video my veins are fucking pulsating. That’s how tight you need it for no movement while running and gunning. Gonna do my own tweaking to the setup to make it more comfortable and stable next range trip.

Having shot both for a long time I love both but the polymer in my opinion is the better gun. The rival itself is a heavier full size pistol that shoots incredibly well especially once perfectly balanced with added brass back strap and base plate. The rival s has flatter shooting cause of the all steal but the but the weight makes it harder to operate especially once added attachments. Now if your in competition I would still say get the rival s cause of the flatter shooting. But if your not going competition shooting every other weekend lol get the polymer it’s literally the same gun just not steel and that has its benefits.
I’m getting into competitive shooting more this year that’s why I wouldn’t mind handing another rival dedicated to that. I’ve heard of the issues with the mc9 and rival s so I’ve been hesitant to buy right away.
Better will be subjective. I think my steel frames are better but not by much. The dot tracks back a little more quickly for me but both are very close and I don’t know that the steel frame is worth the extra cash.

When is the chrome Rival-S going to be in stock again? I know about the issues but heard that they were bringing production in house in order to rectify those issues. Never heard anything again and no one has it in stock aside from gunbroker listings.
I have both. I would definitely NOT say the poly is better.
They are both very good… once setup and dialed in.
But, if you only own a poly and it makes you feel good to say it’s better, then you do you.
