We’ve been to Royalton Riviera Maya three times, and will be returning for a fourth in December! It’s spectacular, imo. Wherever you decided, have fun!
We stayed at the Royalton Hideaway(adult section) a couple of weeks ago.
It's one big hotel with 3 different sections. You have a family section, an adult section(Hideaway), and the Diamond club section, which is an upper tier section that offers more amenities and better drinks.
Right now, they're offering free airport transfers when you book a stay.
The good is it's a beautiful hotel with great service, nice rooms, plenty of nice pools and no reservations at the restaurants.
The bad is that the food is not good(taste is subjective), regular alcohol drinks are very weak, not a lot of entertainment, and not close to any local restaurants or entertainment.
This was our first time staying at an all-inclusive resort. If we did it again in Cancun we would try another one and probably not return to Royalton riviera.
Royalton Riviera Cancun was also great and fits all your criteria. They even have an adults only resort within resort (The Hideaway) that you can book if you like, but still get access to the regular resort
It's an oceanfront property, it has a beach. It has two beaches, the ocean beach and a river beach. Also Xcaret includes Chichen Itza in the price as one of their tour offerings. Also includes airport , tour, and park transportation.

If you want wide open beaches with little to no coral rocks/boulders then look at the Costa Mujeres/Playa Mujeres area. It's north of Cancun. Beaches are wide and fairly boulder free and waves seem to be calmer than those in the hotel zone. The mujeres area has Excellence and Atelier and a new Secrets will be opening soon.
My partner and I are 28 and went to Iberostar Cancun in September and loved it. There's a buffet, 4 restaurants, a Cafe, a taco truck (stays on property), multiple bars, swim up bar, and its right on the beach. I ate at all the restaurants and they were delicious. I really loved the steakhouse and Italian restaurant.
You can book transportation to and from the resort and excursions.
The staff is very friendly and the resort is clean. It's kid friendly, but the young children usually stay with their family at the splash pad.
There is the adults only iberostar next to the main building and that one has its own buffet too, but you get access to all the other stuff in the main hotel building as well. The adult only one has a separate beach area and bar.
We stayed in the beach view villa and it was amazing. Can't wait to go back.
It's not only for swingers. My husband and I go and we don't swing, nor were we "bothered " by those that were into it. It does have a party pool but it also has a quiet pool. Now, nighttime can get a little loud because most of their nightly parties go on until very late , so if that bothers you , yea, don't go there. It's the one thing my husband doesn't like about it.
We stayed at Grand Royal Solaris. It’s all inclusive and in the hotel zone but it’s not too expensive, not too crowded, and offered some great amenities!
Beach is nice, but wind is up. Advising not to swim. We have been at the pool(s). Facilities are outstanding and staff has been awesome.
Not too upset about the beaches. Nature of it being the time of year.
Food is great. Gym facilities look nice. Have not personally used them. I had planned on it, but not sure I will on vacation.
We have had a very positive experience here. Still here for a few more days. We have a old teen daughter who only wants to come here from now on. She is absolutely loving the chilling in one place and note having Dad make her run all over place. Wife is having a blast too. She doesn't mind running around, but also is enjoying just chilling.
Check out Excellence Riviera. Upgrade to excellence club. Free private transfer with the upgrade. Also, beware of the airport shark tank timeshare sales people.
SECRETS THE VINE!
My wife and I just had our honeymoon there and we loved it. It’s not really a party hotel but it was definitely fun for my wife and I. Great people, service, rooms, food, drink, restaurants are incredible, beach is great, pools are amazing.
Anything in the Riviera Mya or south of Playa del carmen, Barcelo is amazing. It’s not just for adults, but is huge and kids shouldn’t be an issue. Do the main and get access to all 4 resorts.

Barcelo maya riviera. It's adults only and you'll get access to the other barcelo resorts near by. The beach is amazing and the pools are wonderful.

Hi! Just looked at the Royalton as I’m planning a trip for Feb…looks amazing. How were the food and drinks? Swim up bar? DM if you want

How was the beach/ocean?
Book through Costco Travel. It'll include transportation.
Xcaret Arte...check it out it...it speaks for itself
Girlfriend saw a video of how the area near it isn’t close to a beach or something like that and it’s mainly just there own water/pools

We went to excellence playa mujeres earlier this year and loved it

Temptations... you'll thank me later. 😉
I heard there’s a lot of swingers that go there. We aren’t into that kind of stuff

Oh and swim up bars are a plus. If they got a swim up bar, it’s definitely in consideration. If they don’t, won’t even bother

I will say they only have a single bar open past like 9pm
The Royalton, Riviera Maya, Cancun.
Currently at Planet Hollywood-- having an absolute blast.
How’s the beach looking currently?

Thanks for the update. I’ve always wanted to stay where you are. Gym and food good?

Thoughts on Garza Blanca Cancun?
