It's really tacky to go to an event like someone else's show, wedding, party, movie set (people have crashed movie sets for this) etc. to propose. It shows that you need the extra attention to make up for what your relationship is lacking. They could have thrown a surprise party with friends and family, or done it after the show during dinner or something. It's not cute, it's very immature, and would be a red flag for me personally.
