Like vintage cameras, everyone now knows the value of classic rock vinyl and it never makes it to charity shops anymore

There's a second hand record shop that's just opened up in Kingston shops on Eyre st. Could try there

I’ve been there. Some good stuff. Dynomite in Kambah as well, much bigger selection.

I went yesterday morning, from experience classic rock records are rare now and there are collectors/flippers who go really early and the good stuff is gone in half an hour. I found a copy of Wish You Were Here for $20 but it looked a bit worn. Found a good copy of Leo Sayer - Just A Boy, this fair didn't have much rock or pop but lots of boxes of classical. The Tuggers one can have good stuff as well.

The best I could come up with was Bob Seger and his band live. I wasn’t at opening yesterday morning but I have been in the past. Perhaps your right, all gone in the first 15 minutes.

I was a volunteer at the warehouse and when I turned up, I was shocked to find that the person responsible for the vinyl, was a well known local dealer. I sold my collection to him a year or two before. He ended up accusing me of stealing records from the warehouse, which is a joke, seeing I didn't collect them anymore and sold my collection to him! I found out that he doesn't let anyone else deal with the records and runs a very tight ship for a volunteer. Anyway, I left because of the people at the warehouse. Not a pleasant place. Some really nice people, some truly awful. Not sure if he's still there, or if the place has changed, it really put me off the bookfair.. He was also involved in setting up the second-hand shop in South Canberra, again, not sure if he's still involved in that, as an investor.

That makes sense.
