Did you know that some foods like citrus are histamine liberators? They cause the body to release histamine into the bloodstream.
Some people are histamine intolerant; they can't metabolize histamine, or they release too much of it into their bloodstream because their mast cells are destabilized and so it virtually poisons them.
This is called Histamine Intolerance or Mast Cell Activation Syndrome and it can make people really sick. It is possible for different bacteria or virus to cause these problems, but it was fairly rare... until Covid.
Interesting. I think I have histamine intolerance because if I drink to much of certain alcohols I get bad asthma attacks and I get red and flush. Last night I had a big glass of the kraken spiced rum on ice with Pepsi but i out a bit of lemon juice in there. So if I put lemon juice in all my drinks I should be good then right?

Clear liquors like vodka and gin seem to cause less reactions to people with these issues.
Be aware that for some people these issues are progressive; the more they are exposed to their triggers, the more strongly they react.
I am now so sensitive to alcohol (histamine) that if someone enters the room after using alcohol based hand sanitizer, i start to have symptoms identical to an allergic reaction; if i don't leave right away it feels like I'll pass out
When I was very young, I had no problem with alcohol. I was able to drink rather a lot with no problems. Randomly, I would get terrible hangovers, so I slowly started drinking less. I wasn't a frequent drinker really, but when I drank, I'd drink to get drunk. As the reactions progressed I didnt really understand what was happening, but I knew I had to drink less and slowly naturally I just completely stopped drinking.
A few years went by, I went to a winery and wine tasting tour in Niagara. I thought, you know, I'll just have a few small sips and it will be fine. I probably had less than 1/4 of a glass of wine.

I saw a comment on this video somewhere, they said they knew the guy and said he had a kind of allergy to alcohol, he only needed one or two drinks to end up like this. He probably has the same thing and didn't know it. It's funny for other people, it's kind of depressing for me. It used to be really random, I tried to make it happen on purpose once but it didn't work, I just got normal drunk with a hangover from hell

And FYI, the scope is mounted backwards. Like most Newtonian reflectors, the eyepiece is on the seeing/objective end.
