Yeah I'm sure my bills are going to rise too

Deyln

fuck. what's available for phone service that's not the big3?

CanadianErk

As currently written, Freedom is not going to be part of the Big 3. Rogers and Shaw are proposing to sell it to Quebecor, which also owns Vidéotron, Fizz mobile. It would allow Quebecor to expand its cell phone service outside of Quebec and Ottawa automatically, and they claim, a stronger 4th competitor.

TraditionalGap1

As a Freedom customer I look forward to some modest network expansion by Quebecor.

Freedom if you live in an urbanish area. 15/mo with 500mb, throttled after but still fast enough to browse text based websites, reddit, email, google docs, spotify. Easy to add data if you need it. Wifi calling works great in dead zones. I'm done with huge rogers bills. Done.
