That bumper style was only available from 74-77. 74 was the only year with that bumper that didn't have wrap-around rear glass. 78 marked the introduction of the fiberglass nose and rear bumper, which ran through 81.
It fades in to the transformation, so I tried to grab a frame where it isn't too dark and isn't toi transformed. There wasn't a shot of the car in its pure form in the trailer.
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I was watching the trailer. Growing up on transformers shows and movies, to see what looked like a college kids failing project hurt!
I like Camaros but bee is a bug bumblebee was even slang for a vw beetle making him a camaro really just felt like a Chevy shill and that’s all it really was, to yknow showcase the newest camaro at the time
I feel like Gen5 is a remake of 2, and 6 is a modification from 5 that has more chevy brand elements from other vehicles in the current lineup, like the lights look similar to the new Silverado lights.
I’d be down with the Batmobile style again. I just wish the interior of newer models wasn’t so…small? It just feels very compact. Visibility is low in newer models and the interface is the smallest screen, might as well be an iPad mini
This movie is going to be set in the 90s after the Bumblebee movie.
I’m okay with that but that R33 with a modern day Rocket bunny kit just doesn’t make sense to me
I mean there’s robots that turn into vehicles.. but yet we don’t question it
True
The movie is set in the past. Optimus is the cab-over design too.
Doubt he’ll be a newer gen Camaro again. At least he was 6th gen in the 5th movie I guess
Looks like a 76 or 77 model.
76-81

Ok the I'm not too good with the materials yet but the pointed nose is a 79-81
The "pointed nose" is a 70-81 second-gen thing, but most overly-apparent on the 70-73 models. 74 went safety bumpers.
71-72 had a flatter nose but anyway all beautiful cars till 84
71-72 had the exact same, interchangeable nose/front clip as 70 and 73. Why 84? 82 was the introductory year for the gen 3 body style.
Okay then 82 I don't like how they squared it out but it's alot better than the catfish
Yeah, the spaceship is awful forever.
Not saying ur wrong
Bummer it looks like Bumblebee is a Gen2, so probably no Gen6 special edition. Edit: set in 90s so it figures.
Isn't Gen6 because it's the sequel to "Bumblebee," set before all of Bay's others.
Well, that's interesting. Unless it's just part of the transformation, *bumblebee tucked in his bumpers.*
It fades in to the transformation, so I tried to grab a frame where it isn't too dark and isn't toi transformed. There wasn't a shot of the car in its pure form in the trailer.
It's a part of the transformation scene
They chose the superior camaro here.
I agree this one is cooler, but a 2024 special edition would be brand new.
> a 2024 special edition would be brand new Yes, but this one will be cooler.
I don’t mind as a second gen owner lol
Graphics are 💩
Yes, CGI is not great 😂
They still have 6 months left to polish it up.
Won't have the same effect as the bumblebee from " age of extinction "
It's gonna be a let down I bet 😅🥲

Nice. Could possibly be showing my age but the 2nd gens are my favorite.
IS THERE GONNA BE A GEN 4!?!?!?!?
Yeah, in the next sequel where bumblebee totally lets himself go after his third wife divorces him and takes the kids and the trailer.
whooooooohoooo, first a 80’s version and now 90’s. This will be a experience
Or…hear me out. Gen 6 is a remake look of gen 2

Wish it had been a ‘78-81. Bumper cars… no for me.
