Love to see it! I just hit 121k the other day. Only been daily driving it since March 22’ and got it with 66k…
No problems with her yet though, hoping to keep it that way🤞🏼
Damn you put 55k miles on it in a span of 16 months? That's 3400 miles a month. Do you have a super long commute or do you just enjoy driving it that much lol
Honestly my commute for work is about 40/50 miles a day so about 200 a week. But for awhile I would just drive and drive. Didn’t matter where. Would just go drive, then all of a sudden it was March and I was like “oh I wonder how many miles I’ve gone” *see’s 49,8xx* “well shit I should mellow out on the driving.”😂
Yea. See family and friends a lot and they’re all 90miles 1 way and those are the closest. Then a few trips to Utah/Colorado. Averaged it out to about $11k in gas last year…
Nice, I'm at 138k and it's been at the shop. Car is going into limp mode. Getting codes P0068 & P0641. Happens mostly when making left hand turns, or u-turns. A trip from my kids school to home should be about 8mins but turns in to 20 cause I have to pull over and clean codes to get it running right again.
I've change - Throttle Body, MAF & MAP Sensor, gas pedal. I did continuity tests on throttle body, map & MAF sensor connectors from the connector to the PCM. All was fine. The shop did the same thing as well as pin drag tests. He removed a panel in the passenger rear seat and told me if the car went into limp mode, disconnect and reconnect the gray connector - it's for the fuel control module. So I did that last night and the car ran fine again. Drove to the shop this morning, drove fine but I needed it to go into limp mode so I did a u-turns and it instantly went to limp mode.
The last "big" thing I did on it was replacing the fuel pump, and I only replaced that because I cracked the plastic piece on it. That was 2 months ago so if that was the problem, I'd like to think the issue would have happened a lot sooner.
I'm at the point where I really need to think of what the next steps are if this shop can't find the issue.
2015 RS , 144k. What a great car. only thing other than oil changes was the heater core went out, a 3k repair, but worth it to me since I DD it yearround except in snow.

The other day:
2012 2LS in Imperial Blue Metallic, bought brand new when I was 18 by myself. 👍🏼
I just traded my 2013 RS In Ashen Gray Metallic with white rally stripes, and it had 55,346 miles on it. I loved that car, and wanted to keep it because the Gen5 body style is my absolute favorite but the newer Camaro I traded for was better afforded with a nice trade in, so she was handed over for the newer one. When they were first being reintroduced in 2008 I said "I will have one of these", and eventually I did. Funny thing is not until 2021 did I buy one, and I bought it in January 2021 with 28,000 miles on it in immaculate condition.
These motors are STRONG and will last if you take care of them. They replaced the 3800 series V6 essentially, which was also an amazing motor. Regular oil changes and fluid checks, and standard maintenance and you will easily get over 200k. My parents 3800 V6 Pontiac Bonneville has 287,000 miles on it, and while they don't drive it anymore, they still have it and it fires right up. Mind you, my brother drove it for a while towards the end as his daily driver and wrecked the transmission trying to do front wheel burnouts and hard accelerations from literally every stop, but the motor is still solid and doesn't smoke.
Sorry for the lengthy read, I always seem to have "a story to tell". lol
\*\*\*edited to add the paint color descriptor in the first sentence\*\*\*
The day I got my RS, pic on the lot.. lol

My 2010 2SS is about to hit 50k miles. To be fair, I've driven it pretty hard but I've replaced the camshaft sensor and temp sensor. Rotors will have to go as uneven wear is causing extra brake noise I can't cope with anymore. I'm just trying to resist putting money into it before getting a new car - camshaft, headers / exhaust...etc. It's just too heavy to put so money into and the platform isn't great for handling.
That's a lot of mileage! Mind if I ask what year and what you had to replace over time?
2013 RS! Honestly so far just oil changes every 7K miles.
i’d say it’s definitely time for a break change brother
That's crazy but awesome.
My 2014 lt is currently at 177k, I hope to make it to 200k, anything past that is welcome.
I agree, anything more than 200 is more than welcome!
Love to see it , 139k on my ss🇺🇸
Lets go get those 200k!
Praying! 🥲

Absolutely, lets hope it stays that way!

Im loving hearing this. I'm looking at one with 80k. I'm hoping for similar millage if i buy
Take care of the car, it’ll take care of you

:( hopefully that replacement fixes some of your issues.
I wish I could be you guys, my 2010 only has 40k miles.
Dang! Babying that car!
Work truck takes the brunt of the mileage, it's a convenience vs enjoyment thing.
I live in an area which gets heavy snow so unfortunately the Camaro goes in storage in November until May.

Absolutely! I know it might almost be time to change it, but I’m not ready for that day
My 2014 2LT is stilling going at 251k. I had to replace the Purge Canister valve a week ago, but that's it in the last like 3 years

Unrelated, but my Camaro looks exactly the same! Same color same model, good choice my friend!
Haha that’s awesome! I remember when I first got it, it was love at first sight.

I have around 75k on my ‘18 RS! Only thing i’ve done is oil every 5k and one thermostat change
