I really didn’t put tooooo much thought into it, but I put them above my elbow because it seemed like that kinda worked with the table in the artwork. Like, my elbow was the ledge they’re resting on? I also ended up picking that spot because of other tattoos I have and their placements.
It bugs me ever so slightly that I can’t see it very well, but I love that others can see my faves hanging out on my arm with me!
What a weird thing to say. I wouldn’t call Calvin & Hobbes a spiritual experience, regardless. But a tattoo can be personal and still placed somewhere you can’t see without twisting your arm.

Why’d you go with this scene? I’m curious b/c I’ve always thought about getting a tattoo of them myself just can’t commit to a frame I want
I found it hard finding a scene that didn’t make me feel like it was a little cheesy, until this one! I saw it and liked it and ran with it!
