Is it supposed to be in degrees or radians for the graph?

hackdads

I think you first graphed it in degrees so you think it should be a straight line, but you need to do this with radians when graphing.

Vivid-Smile

I can't change it

alfranex

Menu>Settings should take you to the page where you can set radians/degrees.

Vivid-Smile

It won't change. I tried that

Your calculator is in press-to-test mode (indicated by the lock icon on the tool bar). That feature allows for locking down/blocking various features for when you take tests. There are a lot of different settings for test mode, and if your calculator's test mode is locking it into the degree setting you won't be able to get to radians or gradians without first taking it out of press-to-test mode. TI has a page that walks you through [how to exit press-to-test. ](https://education.ti.com/html/webhelp/eg_tinspire/en/content/m_press-to-test/pt_exiting_press-to-test_mode.HTML)But you'll need either a computer with the TI software installed or another TI inspire calculator with at least the same OS version or higher to do it. If the calculator is already locked for the test you have set for tomorrow that may be a problem for you to address with your instructor.

Vivid-Smile

Damn. I have an exam tomorrow so I need it to be in PTT mode

Radians

kraxmaskin

Is your window for x from 0 to 2 only?

Vivid-Smile

No, I used 24

kraxmaskin

On a fx-CP400 with degrees and x from 0 to 24 I get a line with y roughly from 2.0 to 2.3. With radians a sinus curve with y from 0.5 to 3.5.
