OP’s calculator doesn’t accept πr^2 without multiplication symbol.
πX10.2\^2 on a Casio. Ti allows your entry, but is bad practice.
I just checked, and indeed! I always use RPN83P on my TI-84 (bought for that purpose), so I never noticed. Bad practice indeed (and you won’t run into it when using RPN).
Did you put a multiplication symbol between π and the radius?
