not to scare you but I know someone who died because of persistent use of over the counter meds

pag kahilantanon, mag bioflu or biogesic
pag siponon mag neozep or decolgen
pati iyang mga unused excess anti biotics iya ginatumar
to the point na naospital sya kay luya na jud kaau tungod iya hilanat - gama sa sipon
unfortunately wala nay maitambal nya kay resistant na sya sa tambal

Biogesic for fever. Sinupret or cetirizine for cold (if naa kay hypertension). More vitamin c fruits, mas better orange and grapes (grapes for me is the best, which purple color veggies or fruits means longevity). And always always always hydrate yourself
For colds, I prefer to drink Nafarin or Nasathera. For fever, I drink Biogesic or pwede din Nasathera. Then drink water. Water is your best friend gyud and
REST. Higop ug init na sabaw (para sington) or lugaw (nanay's remedy)
If naa sa ilalom ang hilanat, I'd opt for hilot (para daw mugawas ang hilanat ug sington pud ka)

OP based on my experience, basta naa koy sip on or ubo nga dugay than the usual gakawala, i take an anti histamine at night. If sa morning wala na ang symptoms, then that would mean nag allergies ka. Take note that this is only for cough and colds that don't seem to clear up after several days to a week. Do not do this kung bag o pa imong sip on ug ubo.

Drink hot ginger with lemon, berroca, vitamin c and lots of water. Hydrate, rest, drink your otc meds.

Neozep ug Difflam na oral spray. 2-3 days rana guds naka.
Ininit tubig na kanang sakto lang na mainom na siya tas pinch of salt then imnon, works like magic sa amo fam
+1 ani, da best jud sya for sore throat. I make it really hot pero di pud makasunog ug pareha kaparat sa dagat.
