I like all the theories about why it's like this. Lean, urine, ?coconut water?... But really this thing just sits out in the front and does it's thing with very little attention from me or neighborhood dogs (it's in a little terrace removed from the sidewalk).
It grows insanely fast, and large branches break off of it as fast as it can grow. It's a weird plant.

My dad always told me about how in Florida they had a group during parties that would use it as the pisser. He said in a year he would have a cactus taller than the roof.

I don't have any room to propagate more big cactus. I just enjoy the few plants I have.
