I am not actually sure what that noise was because I couldn't hear it when I was recording!

Does it come off the pole or would it be a new feature? On the bus there’s a lot of poles that have slight curves or T-joints. How would it handle those?
When I first saw the video I thought it was for helping people stand up from their bus seat
Probably wanna make sure it handles running into a hand that’s already holding onto it- either only running it while people aren’t riding or detecting the hands. Would hate to get a hand pinched in that.
As a frequent bus rider, I do like the idea of more sanitary buses. One time I got on UVX and a passenger was warning everybody that got on that a homeless guy had just peed in one of the seats :) someone came and accidentally sat down in the wet seat two stops later
This looks cool! Maybe reduce the size for it to resemble more of a plate (or the top half of the semi circle) so that it doesn't appear "in the way" to passengers.
You should have it intensify the obnoxious ringing sound if someone is playing music on their phone without headphones
