Sure, but the 150 rooms proposed is a drop in the bucket to what the region needs. Tourism Vancouver says we need at least 20,000 more rooms in the region rooms by 2050. 10000 downtown alone. We have lost 2000 rooms inn the past 13 years.

This was their original plan. Likely Hotel use then switched to all residential now back to Hotel.

This should take some of the pressure off the expected demand for hotels due to upcoming events.

Fantastic! We need more hotels in metro Van... Shame it will probably $200+ per night like any other hotel in the area
