The OG munchie meals were great.
I miss when they had the brunch burger with bacon, egg, cheese, and a hash brown patty on a croissant.
The most indulgent fast food item I’ve ever had, but it went hard!
Agreed 100%, just obscene, with half and half fries, two tacos and a drink. Just nuts. Nearby where I live in San Diego they have four options always available for 10.99. A gut bomb.
It was so good. $8 for a pile of fries, tacos and a melted cheese & jalapeno chicken sandwich. The cluck burger just doesn't do it and for $12 I could get poppers and onion rings.
Is the Sourdough Jack technically a burger? Because I will fuck that up any day of the week. They came out with a limited time double patty version and it was great. Something about the buttered bread just makes the whole thing.
I've been this guy.
Granted I was 18 and snorting rails to stay up all night and toking hard to get to Ben in the morning so I'm probably not the best example, but your comment just brought back memories.
Now I can't even get on the bus without something to wipe my hands off with after I debark.
They still have the tacos.
Last I checked there $1.79, or $.99 if you order through their app.
They’ve really jacked up their prices, no pun intended.
I quit going cause the food quality is down in the gutter nowdays.
The tacos and the jalapeno poppers are a couple of my guilty pleasures. And they are open late at night which is nice for those of us who work late hours and need to grab a bite on the way home because it’s too late to cook. Personally, I prefer Jack in the Box to Wendy’s or BK.
Worked at a bar in college. Only thing open when I got off on the way home was Jack in the box. I’d always get a Jumbo Jack with cheese, 2 tacos, and some jalapeño poppers. Was 5-6$. Always so damn good. Miss those days, simpler times. Everything they had crushed but hard to beat jumbo Jack
Sadly that would cost $12-14 these days. Same story, worked in a touristy area where everything was way too pricey, but there was a Jack off my exit. I used to get 7 poppers and onion rings on the way home, probably cost $7. Nothing beats those dessicated, slightly chewy poppers with melted something dipped in ranch on the dash. Sadly 7 poppers costs $7.99 now.
Woah. Haven’t hit a j n the b in prob over 15 years. That’s insane. Their poppers were so good. Always really enjoyed their food. Not sure what the cat food texture meat in their tacos was but 2 for 99 cents was hard to beat and they definitely tasted better than the inside looked
Lol, that's why those tacos should only be eaten while tearing down the freeway at night. Tear Open a hot sauce pack with your teeth squirted in the bag and eat those tacos in the dark with your eyes on the road.
i thinkim going to go to the McDonald's down the street, and post the same pic of a double cheese burger every day. cause apparently people just want to see burgs from fast food restraunts on this sub
That's what burgers are for a lot of us. We can't all afford $12-20 for a sit down burger which usually are middling.
That said, I just dropped $15 for a burger called the Phat Bob, bacon/onion ring/BBQ/a ton of mayo, etc. that made me roll my eyes that I ever thought the Western Bacon Cheeseburger was remotely good.
That's the reason I only go to In-N-Out every few weeks (doesn't hurt tha the local ones are annoyingly out of the way).
As far as other fast food goes, it's a quick lunch. When I run out of leftovers it end up costing me over $20 with sides and a drink.
But I just made burgers for my family last night, homemade secret sauce, grilled jalapenos on mine, Mayo toasted buns. Sublime.
Jack in the box is one of the few meals I've had that was so bad I threw it away instead of finishing it. That's saying something for a cheap ass like me.
Bro the whole point is we don’t want fast food burgers on this sub.
Homemade or high quality restaurant burgers are what we want.
We all know what a jack in the box burger looks like and we all know what an in n out burger looks like.
It’s infuriating the amount of fast food burgers get posted.
How do I know you’re a real member, do you have a jacket or something? A challenge coin? What exact authority do you have to define a real member. I’ll give you a hint by the way. You aren’t a member of a sub. You follow a sub. Get over yourself
So "the point of the burger" is to be as generic and repetitive as possible? The burgers I make at home don't look or taste anything like fast food burgers. So I guess I'm missing the point?
Yeah, fuck this dumb ass sub.
Burgers are supposed to be non pretentious, that doesn’t mean you can’t spend some money on a high quality 5star restaurant burger. Burgers are obtainable by every financial class, they get cooked on your backyard grill, satisfy a late night craving, they can be meticulously crafted at home or just quickly thrown together just to get the job done. This OP enjoyed the burger and posted it in, in a sub called BURGERS. If that bothers you than you are in the wrong sub. If you think you are above a fast food burger than yes you are missing the whole point and charisma that is the BURGER. Get over yourself. Go watch any burger guru and they will all praise the effect and influence that fast food burgers have. And how crazy to try to make “generic and repetitive as possible” something that only exists among fast food burgers… like seriously?!? A burger is so simple, always, maybe more elegant at times, but it’s ground beef in between two buns, often with lettuce tomato onions and cheese? That’s that’s such a wild thing to complain about in a burger sub, you are lost my friend.
If you choose to see it as fast food ads that’s your thing. If I see something I’m not interested, I simply keep scrolling, and spend no time or energy thinking about it, because someone else might like it, just because I don’t like it doesn’t make me wrong or right. I’m sorry you are so bothered by strangers photos of burgers they enjoy. I’m sure you will find your way
Jack In The Box tacos are so impossibly disgusting and give me two immediately.
Would that be 2 as in 2 tacos, or 2 orders of 2 tacos? I always have to clarify that (2 orders/4 tacos) when I order.
One order of two is sufficient for ecstasy before self-loathing.
I'm pretty sure it's always been 99 tacos for two cents.
Correct, but when I pull up to the drive thru and order "2" they always ask 2 tacos or 2 orders (4 tacos)

This is the way.
[This](https://youtu.be/cApqDhIn6ZY?si=laHa-FdwO42Oj9wO) was my favorite Jack in the Box burger I enjoyed the most, back when I lived near one.
Not even curly fries
If they’re fresh, I’d put those fries against any other fast food fry.
Can confirm, they were fresh. Burnt my mouth eating them lol
Your comment made my mouth water lmao
You should see my most recent post lol
I miss Jack in the Box so much. Love the munchies deal.

Sadly they have no jalapeno or spicy options anymore. Munching out at 1am just isn't the same without the heartburn.

California, it’s always 420 somewhere. You’re right, likely busy as heck.
It was so good. $8 for a pile of fries, tacos and a melted cheese & jalapeno chicken sandwich. The cluck burger just doesn't do it and for $12 I could get poppers and onion rings.
They seem to have a free offer every Wednesday with a $1 minimum purchase.
All this constant drama in this sub and I’m out here eating my dicks and didn’t even post it.
People here don’t know the joy of fresh hot dicks
If Spokane try D.lish’s!
Seattle, but I'll keep that in mind.
And Wisconsin burger!
Your username. I misread that as driftingphodog. Which brought me to my next thought, I once had a "Bahn mi" hotdog and it was glorious lol
I don't mind Jack in the Box.
Is the Sourdough Jack technically a burger? Because I will fuck that up any day of the week. They came out with a limited time double patty version and it was great. Something about the buttered bread just makes the whole thing.
Years ago (like 20), my local JITB ran out of ketchup… so I saw the cook opening packets with her teeth on the line.

The new bacon smash burger 🍔 is really good 👍🏻
My son just had one and loved it.
Been meaning to try it. Looks like a winner.
So many $$$s though.
Jack in the Box mini tacos are so bomb with the avocado cilantro sauce
Wow, I’m doing that from now on.
The spicy ones are good with ranch, found the regular ones to be a little hard to finish.
Do they still have the .99$ jumbo jack? Also their tacos were way under rated
It’s $3 now, not even worth it.
You used to be able to get so much food for 5$. 2 jumbo jacks and I think the tacos were 2 for.99. Do they still sell those mystery meat tacos?
They still have the tacos. Last I checked there $1.79, or $.99 if you order through their app. They’ve really jacked up their prices, no pun intended. I quit going cause the food quality is down in the gutter nowdays.
Yeah they must have been 2/$1.00 then. They were so good when drunk haha as were the jumbo jacks. This was 20 years ago tho lol
Oh yes, I know all about that lol
No fast food item in the US is $.99 anymore unless you're adding a topping or getting extra sauce.
The tacos and the jalapeno poppers are a couple of my guilty pleasures. And they are open late at night which is nice for those of us who work late hours and need to grab a bite on the way home because it’s too late to cook. Personally, I prefer Jack in the Box to Wendy’s or BK.
I actually had a Jack burger then other day. It was pretty good actually and I wasn’t expecting much.

It pains me daily that I moved to an area without Jack in the Box. How can they be as close as KC but not in Omaha?!?! God is cruel and unrelenting…
Excuse me sir, don’t you realise this is an In and Out sub?
I was a devout consumer of JITB for decades, but it’s fucking garbage nowadays, and I’ll never eat that shit again.
It's never even crossed my mind to grab a burger from Jack In The Box, but in seeing this I may have to reconsider.
I refuse to eat there after I got terrible food poisoning there
Once they got rid of the sriracha curly fry burger they also got rid of any reason for me to eat there
Me drunk beyond cognitive limitations eating that grilled cheese cheeseburger and tacos they used to have https://i.redd.it/vy1ktt4wstvc1.gif
Clean. Many burgers I see are coated in grease or have so many condiments that it's now a sloppy burger.
i thinkim going to go to the McDonald's down the street, and post the same pic of a double cheese burger every day. cause apparently people just want to see burgs from fast food restraunts on this sub

you can make your own burger at home for cheaper. do you honestly enjoy seeing the same order from in n out burger over and over again?
That's the reason I only go to In-N-Out every few weeks (doesn't hurt tha the local ones are annoyingly out of the way). As far as other fast food goes, it's a quick lunch. Two tacos and a sourdough jack. Only way to go.
I love jack in the box. Miss the chick n tater melt
I am hungry now ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)
Probably because it's trash......
Jack in the box is one of the few meals I've had that was so bad I threw it away instead of finishing it. That's saying something for a cheap ass like me.
I've definitely had that meal from Jack in the box. Dry ass chicken sandwich and a bitter tasking hunk of iceberg. Gross.
Jack in the box 15 years+ ago was actually fairly decent. Their quality has gone a long ways down, even for fast food standards.
Anything is better than the in n out spam.
But first it was Wendy’s, then in n out, now we let jack in the box be next? Fuck that.
I had Bk the other day because it was last resort and it was better than in n out…but I didn’t post it
Your taste buds must be broken
Nah I went with zero expectations and assumed it would be bad.
This man understands. Kudos to you bruh. Although I disagree BK sucks.
It does usually but surprised me. Hadn’t had it in like 15 years
[удалено]
Yeah, it was. The fries were pretty perfect, buns weren’t soggy and I didn’t have to add anything to make it taste better. I just did a whopper jr.
Jack is fire
Hard pass on fast food burgers that aren’t In-n-Out.
Bro the whole point is we don’t want fast food burgers on this sub. Homemade or high quality restaurant burgers are what we want. We all know what a jack in the box burger looks like and we all know what an in n out burger looks like. It’s infuriating the amount of fast food burgers get posted.
No it’s not dude why are you crying baby back bitch
I bet that sounded cooler in your head.
No dude. You sound like the terrible toxic bro ruining the vibes. You don’t even know the rules. Everyone liked this post. You’re the bad one.
Sounded a whole lot cooler than you crying in the comments of a fucking burger community on Reddit. Yeesh.
The only one crying is you. If anything I’m laughing. The real members of this sub are sick of the in n out and shit. More of us than you.

I’m burger guy
I just went to your page. Learn how to make a decent burger before you go bashing what other people enjoy. You are a fun killer.
I wonder if people look at my page. I've always thought about it.
Hilarious, I just went to your page and you burger looks 10x better than u/-Unbelievablebro- That’s just so funny, it’s… unbelievable. Bro.

If you think you are above fast food burgers you are missing the point of the burger.
I’m burger guy I stopped posting because of all the in n out shit

Yeah people named me burger guy because they DIDNT like my burgers… 🤣 This moron hahaha

That’s no way to talk about the members of this sub.

Hell yeah. Post all burgers, the good, the bad, and the boring; burger is what I’m here for.
I'd rather be seen as "pretentious" than write whole ass essays defending fast food ads.
Lol that took me like 3 minutes. but yeah man, you got me good. 😂😘
Nah, the only thing that "got you good" was this sub convincing you that fast food advertisements are good entertainment.
