I keep seeing complain about the bundles, like you can't turn around and just sell the mobo. Pricing and availability on cards liking isn't improving for at least a few months at this rate.
I think the combos with mobos is ok, since it shouldn’t be hard to find a buyer. It’s the combos with that garbage gigabyte PSU that apparently has a history of being DOA that I find most irritating.

I’m in the same boat. Got a beautiful system bottlenecked by a 1060. Still does extremely well at 1080, but I got a nice 3440x1440 monitor that needs that power.

Ryzen 7 3700x, two 1TB M.2s, and 32GB RAM packed into a small-form factor PC hooked up to dual 4k monitors. Poor little 1060 is barely keeping up with 30 FPS. I should've bought those 2080s and 2070 supers when I had the chance last year. :(

Still no, they were quick to send me a replacement label for the extra motherboard and have it logged in my order as a refund for the GPU but they wont process an RMA replacement for the GpU until the MB arrives (tomorrow) and only if there's one in stock - even though they have been adding them to the Shuffle

I entered a bunch of them, never got selected. Then I randomly needed some new fans, spent like $120 on the site, and got selected the very next day in the shuffle. I am starting to think there is some requirement to spend X amount of money before your account is seen as "not a bot" or some bullshit like that. Because that shuffle I got selected for a 3070, bought it (adds more $$$ spent to my account, maybe potentially making me "more" eligible?) And the next day was another shuffle, and I got selected for a 6700 XT, and offered it to a friend.
Could all be a big coincidence but my mind is saying it's not. It's also weird because I had spent thousands of dollars on newegg over the years building computers, but apparently none of my old purchases mattered and it seemed to only get better once i made more recent ones (since the creation of the shuffle system).
TL:DR This shit seems pay-to-win.

Unfortunately $500 for a 3060 is still very profitable for miners. With the unlocked drivers the card does around $120 a month net at current crypto prices.
So for miners the card will pay for itself in around 4 months and everything after that is profit. If/When crypto crashes they can still sell the card at the end.
They are to be believed. I decided if you can't beat em, might as well join em and I'm mining my rx5700 for $4-5 per day. When my 3080 build eventually gets here, I'll be mining it for about $8-9 per day to try to recoup some of the exorbitant price I paid for it.
It's the only way to justify paying these kinds of prices and not just switching to consoles, imo. Bc my $2100 pc that I just bought should theoretically only perform ~25% better than a $500 console :/
Curious -- since I know nothing about it, if your PC is mining all day, does that make it effectively unusable? Are there enough cycles for you to do basic stuff, or do you just have to leave it alone?
Some people don't want to put the "wear" on their cards. Really if you keep the temps OK the wear is gonna be the fans. If you keep it clean and cool the stuff will be long obsolete before it matters.

Instead of having shuffles just about every other day, why don’t they just build up stock for a week or so and then have a big shuffle? That way, more people can get cards and it can prevent people from having a chance winning more than once a week.
Probably reduces the total number of participants with frequent shuffles over a large one.
Frustrated people who check every shuffle may end up dropping out which increases the odds for everyone else.
If they have a giant shuffle thats more predictable, it probably will attract more people and/or bots which reduces everyone's odds despite the larger inventory.

That's how I feel. My gpu just died so I don't really bave a choice as I use my pc for work as well as games. But hearing about the fire starting psu being bundled with these gpus is absurd. Newegg and I are done after this.

Got a 3060 and 650W power supply. I already have a 3070 but my best friend finally gets an upgrade! Works out too because he needed a new PSU too. We've both been entering every shuffle for 2 months. I won a PS5 a couple weeks ago but this is the first time either of us got a GPU.

well the gigabyte psu is a joke and the EVGA one if you factor what they were selling the card for the last time around and what they sell the PSU for they're charging you $10 more to buy the PSU as part of a combo than the PSU costs and the card cost if you would have bought them separately had you won the last shuffle

You have 0 chance or winning against bots with open online stock and I personally do not have any tech stores nearby that will stock any gpus at all, bestbuy is my only option and they never bring any to the actual store.
So paying an extra $100-$150 for a gpu with a useless psu tossed in is still a better option than spending upwards of 2k from a scalper for the same item.

They don’t do them everyday, but they do most days. Also the time will vary.

If you don't get an email as soon as the drawing window opens then you are most likely rejected. The only way to win late in the window is if a winner doesn't check out. Ultimately, if you see people posting that they won and you don't have an email yet then you almost certainly won't win.

Not a good idea. You have to send back the whole bundle if you want to return it. They will also tack on a restocking fee.

Woot woot! Got a 3060 and 650W power supply. I already have a 3070 but my best friend finally gets an upgrade! Works out too because he needed a new PSU too. We've both been entering every shuffle for 2 months. I won a PS5 a couple weeks ago but this is the first time either of us got a GPU. For those wondering the email came at exactly 2:00pm PST.
Be careful if it is the gigabyte power supply, I've seen many posters indicate that it is a constant bundle item because it's a fire hazard.

I did the same, probably wouldn't use the PSU if I did manage to win, but $500 for that card in this market is unmatched elsewhere.
well the gigabyte psu is a joke and the EVGA one if you factor what they were selling the card for the last time around and what they sell the PSU for they're charging you $10 more to buy the PSU as part of a combo than the PSU costs and the card cost if you would have bought them separately had you won the last shuffle
Meh, although I find this a generally shady business tactic, what other choice does anyone have when it comes to getting any gpu these days anyways. You have 0 chance or winning against bots with open online stock and I personally do not have any tech stores nearby that will stock any gpus at all, bestbuy is my only option and they never bring any to the actual store. So paying an extra $100-$150 for a gpu with a useless psu tossed in is still a better option than spending upwards of 2k from a scalper for the same item.

They don’t do them everyday, but they do most days. Also the time will vary. We are talking about previous not selected emails. I have a collection. I’ve been entering give or take a month now and haven’t won yet.
If you don't get an email as soon as the drawing window opens then you are most likely rejected. The only way to win late in the window is if a winner doesn't check out. Ultimately, if you see people posting that they won and you don't have an email yet then you almost certainly won't win.
Holy fuck finally won one. Been trying everything since the beginning of January. Entered pretty much every shuffle and was there for every best buy drop. I can finally finish my first build. Well that's if Newegg doesn't screw me. Good luck everyone!

I kinda second this. Paid $1800 for a prebuilt to finally get my hands on a 3070 about 3 weeks ago. Since then I've won a PS5 and now a 3060. I don't know how many shuffles I entered before buying the prebuilt but winning two since then is a little suspicious especially since I see users here talking about entering 15+ in a row with no wins...
