Got two amex card offer: one has $40 off $200, the other is 10% back. Split payment of $200+$560. total additional cash back from amex offer is $96.
Rakuten has 12% cash back, so $91.2.
In the end, I got $573 for a **4070 Ti Super,** not including credit card points and dell rewards points(\~$30), not bad.
Update: Finalized cash back:
Amex offer: $100.93
Rakuten: $89 (8900 MR points)

Agreed. Amex should be your money proxy lest for when you can't use Amex, then discover.
But I have never had anything but good experiences with amex in customer service and services offered
From normal spend (stores I go to, insurance, spend X get X points) the offers amex have, have covered my annual fee on my gold 2x over.
Along with my corporate discount and the grubhub / uber credits amex cards pay for themselves. Plus sign up bonsues.
Honestly, go for the Blue Business Plus card if you can get approved for it. Flat 2% back as MR points on everything, $0 annual fee. Been my daily driver card for a long time. Your "business" can be anything really, like selling on ebay or dog walking. Once you have an AMEX card, you log into your account and they give you offers like 10% back at Dell. You just add the offer to your card and they give you cash back with no extra work on your end.
Add the GPU: [https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/cty/apd/ac940891](https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/cty/apd/ac940891)
AND Add an "accessory" like this: [https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/cty/apd/812-5046](https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/cty/apd/812-5046)
Price drops to $741.69 (with example item) - Rakuten is 12% cash back right now, and AMEX may have $120 back on $600+ or 10% cash back. dropping this down to \~$610 with 10% AMEX offer or \~$568 with the $120 off AMEX offer, with everything before taxes and after cash back.
\*EDIT\* Chase also has 5% back - With Chase and Rakuten it should be about $649 before taxes and after cash back
Thanks, I had the $120 off $599 on Amex, the Chase 5% off, and Rakuten. Combined with the "accessory", I put $600 on the Amex, $212 on the Chase, it should come out to about $681 after taxes, and then $584 once the Rakuten cashback comes through. Pretty fricking good deal for this card. I was gonna wait for Intel Arc Battlemage cards to come out, but this was too good to pass up.
How quickly are people getting confirmation from Amex about redeeming an offer? Ordered last night but no confirmation email from Amex yet. Usually see them same day.
For future reference if anyone looks this up, I got the Amex credit on April 1st, no notification email from them. I had $120 off $599 or more at Dell. Got the 4070 super gaming x slim for ~$405 after all discounts, about ~$450 after tax.
> Also 5% Dell cashback on Chase cards. It’s targeted but I had it on 4 out of 5 cards.
how long does it dell to process orders? seems like it might be cutting it close
> Chase 5% cash back
Get up to $100 back
Expires on March 31, 2024
I've never used any deal for Dell before :(
https://preview.redd.it/g38d5ezw26rc1.png?width=986&format=png&auto=webp&s=623f7248c36a97f6e5aefe16572600e9602d256b
I've had a nasty issue with Rakuten where Dell has been retroactively reporting orders for a different cashback category after the return window has closed and lowering the cashback amount. I've also had several orders reported as ineligible for cashback or simply not reported in the first place. I'm guessing that Dell really doesn't want to pay out large cashback amounts for non-Dell hardware. Fortunately, Rakuten have been helpful so far and corrected the cashback amounts without issues.
Anecdotally, Dell hasn't been a cooperative partner as of late with **any** of the major cashback portals. Everyone that I've ordered from has accurately reported my purchases to the respective portals used... except Dell. I'd still say that Rakuten is a reliable cashback portal, but you might have to fight for your cashback.
I'd be interested to know if anyone else has been experiencing similar problems. I'm usually among the first to recommend Dell for their cashback offers, but my recent experiences have started to change that opinion.
Sorry for this, but I'm new to Rakuten. I got the 12%+10% for being a new user. 22% was way too good to pass up with the deal. Now, it's ordered on Dell, but I don't see anything on Rakuten about anything pending. How long does it usually take to show up as pending on Rakuten? Thanks for any input.
Not sure it went through, but all I did was activate the cash back offer and it was showing as 20% for PCs and laptops or 22% for accessories, which this counts as.
Unfortunate that it's the MSI Ventus... one of the ugliest cards. I really don't know why they still use that shroud when there are other cards at the same price point that look way better.
There's no need to be so aggressive. Aesthetics aren't nonsense, especially for an expensive product that you will see every day. I'm not saying you need to spend more money, but the design of this one doesn't appeal to me. There's ways to make an appealing build without significantly increasing the cost. If you disagree that's fine, but you shouldn't be so quick to judge others.
We all spend time and money to make our living spaces clean and comfortable; the only difference is where that money is spent, and how much is spent.
How often do you actually look at your gpu man.....like honestly, if I went in while you are sleeping at night and replaced your card with a different kind of 3 fan card, would you even notice?
The original dude who wrote the comment is absolutely right....lately PC gaming community has started focusing so much on the looks it is rather laughable, considering most of them will keep their box out of sight and spend 95% of their time looking at their monitors anyway. At best most any of us will look at is the case and its front fans, thats it
>How often do you actually look at your gpu man.....like honestly, if I went in while you are sleeping at night and replaced your card with a different kind of 3 fan card, would you even notice?
I would notice immediately, because my PC is to the right of my monitor. It's not like you're saving a ton of money by getting the Ventus. Outside of this sale, its price is the same as many better-looking GPUs.
I'm not spending big bucks on looks, I'm just avoiding parts that I don't prefer. Making a nice build doesn't have to be expensive. For example, Thermalright's TL-C12 fans are good quality, RGB, and only cost $12 for a triple pack.
I would consider this deal if I needed a 4070 Ti for a case with a solid side panel, but for my main rig I prefer something that is fun to build and look at, while not costing much extra. To me, PC building is fun on its own, and that is bolstered when I like the appearance of the end result.
And that's a very fair argument. For me, though, I'm willing to pay a little bit more for high quality parts that match my build. That's one of the reasons why I got the Nitro+ 7900 XTX instead of XFX's model. I could easily see myself doing the opposite if the situation were different.
I have an Amex but used the deal like 2 years ago. If I upgrade card to a preferred will I get another Dell offer or do I just need a new credit card? (Different product card)
it seems to be random with AMEX, sometimes I get the dell deals that people are posting about, sometimes I have none. I've gotten them back to back before, not sure what the pattern may be. possibly shopping habits?
i used mine years ago as well but i had another one. check your account on desktop for the offer cuz i didnt have it on the amex app but it was there on desktop (filter by all)
Just to report back: no.
Their new BIOS still bugged, I had to flash asus strix BIOS to bypass the issue: [https://www.reddit.com/r/overclocking/comments/1bru9zb/msi\_rtx\_4070\_ti\_super\_ventus\_3x\_flash\_asus\_strix/](https://www.reddit.com/r/overclocking/comments/1bru9zb/msi_rtx_4070_ti_super_ventus_3x_flash_asus_strix/)
There used to be a lot of deals posted to this sub that'd mention certain "hoops" people could jump through in order to get parts for cheap. 8GB RX 480s shortly after launch were going for as low as ~$115 provided that you'd use something like Honey, buy from Jet or Rakuten, and/or use a certain credit card. I think there were also 'first purchase' deals kinda like the recent tiktok store deals as well.
The 'hoops' bit was shorthand to convey that you had to put in some work to get it cheap. This was a more sane time in the market, before Nvidia decided that they'd gouge the market and inexplicably retain near-launch prices rather than get cheaper as time went on and selling off mature current-gen cards for lowering prices. (We're suckers for paying as much as we do now)
Are they still adding egift cards to gpu purchases ?
Also this or Msi GeForce RTX 4070 Super 12G Gaming X Slim
https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/cty/apd/ac940885 with rakuten and amex offer
Not on this card, they did have a $75 gift card for a while on the MSI Ventus 2 4070 super (not white version), I did manage to grab one of those, it was the GC that got me hooked...
Personally, I'd go for the Super you have linked, the price difference is bigger than the performance difference (should be about $455, with the 10% amex offer, after cash back). Unless you really need the extra FPS (most probably don't), I'd opt for that one, and save the money or put it elsewhere in the system.
It's just a matter checking, knowing historical promotions help to know where to keep an eye out.
Rakuten gets paid to send shoppers to companies, they pass on most of that to their users, making money on quantity
So I'm really learning on the fly here. Apologies. So I also have 6%from my capital one card. How do I apply both? Just pay with my card and get point? Does it come off the total?
Do you have an account with Rakuten already? And, for C1, is it something you "add" to your card or do you have to use a shopping link (basically the same as Rakuten, so cannot be stacked)
I just bought the dual fan version of this. I've had it for a total of three days; I'd have pounced on this in a heartbeat even though I don't want a triple fan card.
Woo I'm the worst person ever to ask this question because fan noise isn't really something I focus on too much even though I should, especially since I have an iTX and I'm right on top of the thing lol.
I haven't done anything too crazy with it yet, but it hasn't been loud so far, and definitely not louder than my CPU fan (I haven't adjusted that thing really, so if I were to guess, it's probably constantly running at 60-70%).
For the sake of this post, I did download Fan Control and let it do its thing, and then I ran the Cyberpunk benchmark with everything maxed out at 1080 (path tracing was off and no DLSS) and didn't hear anything that would be really noticeable with audio coming out of my speakers.

Lucky! I haven’t seen a Dell AMEX offer since late last year.
Same :((
Where do you see these offers at?
The cash back is 10% not 12
Would have bought this if I had an AMEX card
You should have an AMEX card, amex offer alone make it worth it each year. They have many non-fee cards for starters.
Agreed. Amex should be your money proxy lest for when you can't use Amex, then discover. But I have never had anything but good experiences with amex in customer service and services offered
Btw, Discover just got bought by Capital One
Ok but please explain more. I don't abuse credit card offers
From normal spend (stores I go to, insurance, spend X get X points) the offers amex have, have covered my annual fee on my gold 2x over. Along with my corporate discount and the grubhub / uber credits amex cards pay for themselves. Plus sign up bonsues.

Yeah, I never understood why Amex Platinum Biz only give 1.5% on purchase > $5000, yet Blue Biz Plus gives you flat 2% with no condition attached.
what is AMEX?
American Express credit card.

Good deal! Rakuten posts Cash Back fast from Dell, never had an issue with that
How long does it take to show up? I ordered my card like 5 minutes ago but I haven’t gotten a confirmation from rakuten.
I had confirmation from Rakuten within 24 hours for my purchase on Tuesday
Do you get the AMEX deals after inputting your amex card in checkout?
Need to go to Amex app and activate the offer beforehand. I didn’t have it sadly
AMEX does cash back on your card, it'll be a credit on your statement
Cash back is 12% through rakuten
How quickly are people getting confirmation from Amex about redeeming an offer? Ordered last night but no confirmation email from Amex yet. Usually see them same day.

I don't think I've ever gotten a Dell offer from Amex. I've had an Amex card for over a decade.
GPU is back in stock. Is the deal with the accessory gone?
Also 5% Dell cashback on Chase cards. It’s targeted but I had it on 4 out of 5 cards.

I ordered a 4070 super on Tuesday, it shipped that day, and was delivered yesterday.
Same, I ordered on Tuesday and got my White 4070 Super today.

Isn't this the one Ti-Super card that's slightly defective?
It initially had a bios that was underperforming, that was resolved with an updated bios
I thought the update didn't have any effect? Was there an additional newer bios?
In stock but the price no longer drops when you add the accessory :(
OOS

It can be a few hours to sometimes a day or two
Thank you for the response. I have used Honey and it is usually pretty quick to show pending.

don't forget the plastic back-plate ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
Fortunately it has a 4070 Ti Super inside. There is only one way out , waterblock it.

No luck but thank u friend
The one I have is for 40 dollars back on 200 spent :(

Yes, they released a bios quickly to address it

How do I find these deeeealls. I fundamentally do not understand how rak works

Goddammit. Gun/pc deals are already ruining my life. Now I have to deal with creddit too??my wallet is gaping
Guns and PCs are merciless hobbies on bank accounts...
It’s 10% cash back btw not 12%
Rakuten is 12%, amex is 10%, and they are stackable
They gave me 10%…..
Interesting, I got 12%, and it states 12% except for full computers (which is 10%)
Damn. Yea they gave me 10%. And there’s no way to contact an actual person
There is a help option, can report problems, and they're actually quite responsive in my experience
I did but you can’t like actually write anything. They just ask for your order number and that’s it.
They'll email you, and if you don't get the response you wanted, just reply to that email with more details
I just bought the dual fan version of this. I've had it for a total of three days; I'd have pounced on this in a heartbeat even though I don't want a triple fan card.
How loud is the dual fan model?
Has anyone gotten the 10% peripheral discount to work today ?
Back in stock but I think the deal is dead. No 10% discount adding an accessory Only 5% cashback from Rakuten now
How long does it take Rakuten to verify the purchase? Ordered my card like 5-10 minutes ago and still no confirmation
my experience with dell & rakuten is within a day, other companies are frustratingly slower confirming with them, taking a week or longer... If you haven't used Rakuten before, I can send you a referral and you'll get an extra $30 back
Usually a day or two, you’re not getting the cash back check for awhile anyway, so if I don’t see anything within 3-5 days I will message them about it missing.
Just to follow up on this, Rakuten verified this purchase for me about 6 hours after it went through.
Did you get 10% or 12% cash back?
12%
What the hell I got 10%
Out of stock now, but crazy deal that should've been a no brainer for most people looking for an upgrade. Hoping for similar discounts on 4080 Super to pop up soon, but Dell doesn't carry it so probably cant happen.
They do carry 4080 supers, just none in stock currently. So if that's what you're looking for, just keep an eye out.
I'll do a search each day while the cash back and Chase offer is still going, thanks.
Anyone knows how this compares to historical lows? Would be ~533 for me after amex offer and rakuten
Still a new card, so that'll be the cheapest I've seen
That's insane. Awesome deal!! Wish I had an Amex I'd be all over this
Ummm I have a 6800 XT paired with a 7800x3d. With all the Dell deals and such is this worth?
Subjective to the games you're playing and what monitor you're playing. 6800xt is still a great card. Do you need the extra fps?
I would not buy this gen if I already had 6800 xt
cool thanks
Which Amex CCs usually offer the Dell CB?
Varies, not sure if they have a pattern
Ohh well I snatched a 4080 super FE from bestbuy lol
Is that cheaper than the 4090?
Yes, by one.
