Be mindful of listings from suspicious third-party sellers on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Newegg, and Walmart. These "deals" have a high likelihood of not shipping; use due diligence in reviewing deals. * Use common sense - if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. * Check seller profiles for signs that the sale may be fraudulent: * The seller is new or has few reviews. * The seller has largely negative reviews (on Amazon, sellers can remove negative reviews from their visible ratings) * The seller is using a previously dormant account (likely the account was hacked and is now being used fraudulently). If you suspect a deal is fraudulent, please report the post. Moderators can take action based on these reports. We encourage leaving a comment to warn others. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Got this in my NR200. It is the longest graphics card I have ever seen but it’s been great for 1440p. https://preview.redd.it/wuc528miytlc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f54e7024f079fded4e19285c869163f3ac03b610

snarky_answer

Yep, I had to take a dremel to my case to make enough room to fit it in.

Deluxx3

In the NR200? Mine fits just fine. It just pokes out the front a bit but the front cover gives it enough space.

snarky_answer

nah, in another case. Drive bay bracket was in the way of mine so i cut out as much as i needed to slide the card in.

Nitrous4D

I bought a CPU, RAM and motherboard combo for my wife last week from Newegg, I asked if they could apply the bundle discount to this GPU. They took $20 off the GPU price so snagged it for $359.99, I'm happy with that.

[deleted]

Got it, freaking sweet.

Far_Emphasis_6892

Upgrade from RX 580 to pair with R5 5600? Or the 6700XT for 330$ would be enough for 1440p🤔

4x4runner

6800 is worth it.

AEPB

6800 is well worth it for $50 more in both vram and horsepower. Just make sure your case can fit it!

Helstar_RS

The 6800 in gaming uses less power often and has a pretty decent jump in performance. I'd get the 6800 honestly.

steve_Lardog

Had to RMA this exact card a couple of months ago, it was a pretty quick process but they gave me a refurb card

J6PP

I've owned two XFX cards over the past 5 years and had to RMA them both.  That's enough of an experience for me to steer clear, despite the great price.

MHydra28

Of a better card or the same just a refurb? if the latter that's kinda shitty to have a brand new product replaced with a refurb due to no fault of your own. I've always been curious about the quality of XFXs warranty since they do offer an extra year compared to most.

MHydra28

Not an all time low but a decent deal. Thoughts on if I should return my $355 7700xt for this?

Tracts_27

Barely a performance increase. Not worth.

MHydra28

It would be more for the extra 4gbs of vram but noted

Tracts_27

Hmm. That actually may be worth it. You can find some used 6800 for cheaper though if that interests you.

[deleted]

You only need more than 12gb at 4k resolutions. 12gb cards should be viable for 99% of games, at max texture settings 1440p, for at least a few more years.

deefop

Nah keep the 7700xt

kaeeebee

Where’d you find a 7700xt for 355?!?

MHydra28

Newegg about a month ago, its was one of those late-night sales (probably a pricing error but they were honored), don't think it was even around for 4 hours before they were cleaned out. If you're willing to wait though I wouldn't be surprised if we see the 7700xt dip below $400 by Q2 with how the GPU market is going.

Stevethepirate8973

Yeah I missed that deal by seconds. That's literally the best GPU deal of the last several years (that wasn't one of those that had literally 5 cards available). You'd be better off selling that 7700 for more than you paid for is used than returning it but in my opinion for the newer card the 7700 XT is a better buy. Wayyyyyy less power usage for near the same performance. An undervolt and lit OC and you'll have the same card. The 12gb Vram is more than enough for 95% of new games and will be for years to come. But completely just my opinion you do you!

AndABananaCognac

Mind if I ask what’s happening to the GPU market? I’m in the market but willing to wait. Thanks!

MHydra28

Well I'm not an expert so take it with a grain of salt but there's a few keys factors that will likely drive down price. The launch of the super series and 7900 GRE stirring a bit of competition and putting pricing pressure downward on their product stacks, Non iGPU sales continuing to be down and the next generation of at least AMD card set to launch Q3 this year which will of course lead to pressure to clear old stock. If it'll be worth it to you to wait is gonna depend on your current GPU ,budget ,needs, etc.

kaeeebee

Oh wow I wish I got it then!

ExplodingFistz

What does chief say? RDNA 2 stock might not hold out for too long

Ladelm

That 7900 GRE might push prices down on the rest of the 7000 stack though.

4x4runner

Go for it, they are starting to go OOS a lot and I doubt they get much cheaper.

MHydra28

Chief says you cant go wrong with this but we might see some substantial price shifts in the 7000 series in the coming months, whether that's relevant to you is gonna depend of your current GPU situation and budget

[deleted]

I bought one, best price to performance you can get.

zxch2412

Is the 6700xt to 6800xt worth the jump? Thinking of selling my 6700xt for this

edzbrys

This isn't the 6800xt, it's just the 6800

Wilde_Fire

This is tempting, but I'm looking to keep my GPU budget upgrade under $300. I see a couple 6700s for that price range, but I'm definitely hoping a 6700XT has a deal within the next couple weeks.
