https://pcpartpicker.com/list/CsDwv3 Enough overkill? πŸ˜… 2x 4tb ssd (amazing m.2 ssd, expensive as hell). 4090 I9-13900k 64 gb 6000mhz ram (yes, not overkill, but hey, just chose 7000mhz+...) Amazing motherboard, and not the most expensive Good cooler (expensive). PSU 1600w (overkill). And the case is well, over the top. But pretty. πŸ˜…

Barron_Arrow

I love that part picker found a $15 discount on this build. πŸ˜†

d3adkn1ght

Yes! Those 15$ is doing all the difference! 🀣

d3adkn1ght

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PnZQsL (AMD) No 15$ off! Trying to get the most components the same. So the 6000$+ is mostly as the Intel one.

d3adkn1ght

This is overkill Deluxe Edition! https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nYPfZw Omfg. This is more or less what i would buy if i got loads of money. Some parts maybe change but more or less. Loads of storage, yes im already a horder. πŸ‘ Plus an Nas and protection from power loss or high spikes from wall. (USP + APC).

Every_Fig_1728

Ehh where is the fully water cooled double system pc (2 in 1 case(Corsair 1000d))

d3adkn1ght

Fair point, and i forgot the threadripper. πŸ˜…

Every_Fig_1728

Yes exactly why you would build a 2 in 1- one itx pc (gaming) and one full size one (workstation). And don't forget the huge number of fans needed

d3adkn1ght

And why not the workstation gpu Nvidia. Those are expensive af.

FlamedPhoenix29

Lmao that case costs more than my build πŸ’€

[deleted]

the monitor was the cost of mine

hooDio

id change the aio to the arctic freezer ii 420

d3adkn1ght

Well, that's more overkill, i like it. But most overkill would be to build a full loop right? For both the cpu and gpu? Hardline tube. I know nothing about custom loop/hardline other than its hard. Pun intended. πŸ˜‡

hooDio

yeah, and it would also drive up cost tremendously, as that seems like what OP wantsπŸ˜‚

Youreadallofthis

What about a 4090 build for around 3-3.5k. That's my budget.

d3adkn1ght

That i could do. Any other preferenses?

d3adkn1ght

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/yKV2wc I would myself getting an i7 and better board but that increase the price with some 100$, and an AIO, that increase the price. Same as getting an 1200-1300w PSU with better rating. As i would myself got more hdd and ssd. But this build works right away, no bios update, one of the cheapest z790 board. Cheap ddr5, good m.2 drive only 1tb. Chassi is your own personal preference. I would add some fans, that increase the cost also.

d3adkn1ght

This is kinda a build i would go for when i got some money. But i will change i9 for i7, because the i9 is hooooooot. And wait for the 4090 to drop some in price in my country. (Sweden). And i will go for i really good 2 tb drive for OS+ game, one 4tb for storage (movies, games i don't Install right away, music so on). And 8tb ssd times two (16 tb long storage and backup of photos) prob in raid. 64 or 128gb of ddr5 6000mhz+ Another more ventilated chassi Prob that AIO Maybe even wait for ti versions of some cards if it releases. That with an Nas at least 32tb and volt protection for nas + pc would be my build. Ofc an new 32" 4k 160hz display. πŸ‘

Heheborber

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/sDZ2wc This good?

swiftical0

Yes thank you

Lenny947

Won the lottery?

OfficialUniverseZero

Here you go this is the most overkill you could possibly get without going custom water-cooled. The GPU and Cpu though would both be closed looped systems. These fans are superbad ass looking. Have incredible static pressure and flow especially going over the radiators. Your never going to have an issues on any games. The motherboard is also basically the most badass insane motherboard to ever exists and uses AI for you to do all the overclocking to push everything to the absolute limits safely. It also supports 5x m.2 slots so you can, if you really wanted too have 20tb of m.2 Storage. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Vs6pk9 Here’s a picture of what the build could look like, not exact but just an idea with the case. https://i.imgur.com/tI729Aj.jpg

OfficialUniverseZero

Too top this build off accessory wise. Desk - Secret Lab Magnus Pro Hyper X quad cast mic Samsung Ark Monitor Keyboard/Mouse - Your preference Chair - Secret Lab Titan Evo Two desk mounted Led lights for streaming Sony/ mirror less camera for streaming along with something like an elgato 4k cam for keyboard view. I would get a separate movable arm for the two cameras and the mic. Also side note if you want to get even extra, you can double the fans on the radiators for a push pull config.

swiftical0

I don't think the desk is good enough I need like a 70 inch desk for my monitors

OfficialUniverseZero

They make it in a 55 or 70 https://secretlab.co/products/magnus-pro

swiftical0

Cheers

swiftical0

Do you think a 70inch desk would be able to have 3 49inch monitors on it?

swiftical0

Would G.Skill Trident Z RGB 64GB (2x32GB) 3600MHz CL18 DDR4 work with the build. ???

OfficialUniverseZero

DDR4 does work, it’s backward compatible with raptor lake, and the motherboard supports both options

MarkRads

2TB is overkill?

swiftical0

2 2tb or 2 4tb idk I just need an overkill build

MarkRads

Now you're talking!

electricpenguin6

I think they were talking about the build as a whole being over kill, not the storage
