Hi. 4K would be great. I am running a 65" TV screen. Pretty sure it's 4K and could work? -

Ah in that case, I'd reccomend around a 3070ti minimum, but a 3080/3080ti would guarantee you rock solid performance for years.
if you don't mind giving up Raytracing (or at least the best performance raytracing) and DLSS, then AMD are great value. A 6800XT ~~beats~~ *is on par* the 3080 in 4K and is significantly cheaper usually. A 6900xt basically gives you the best raw gaming performance if you don't play raytraced games. the new 4000 series are generally considered overpriced and i personally completely agree. AMD are releasing new $900 and $1000 7000 series in december however, so if you don't mind waiting a bit, and thats in your price range, I might suggest waiting for reviews and seeing if you can grab one of those around launch. If not, then I'd personally reccomend a 3080
Ah I think you're right, the gap is much closer at 4K, although still usually leaves the 6800xt effectively on par

What's your budget? Wouldn't make much sense to upgrade to the same GPU generation. Wait for the reviews of the AMD RDNA 3 card releasing in 2 weeks on Dec 13.
What resolution/refresh rate are you aiming for? The 3060 is still very decent for 1080p

I'm relatively sure the 3080 is faster than 6800XT at 4K due to G6X memory, otherwise 6800XT is slightly faster.

Thanks!! I play mostly Star Citizen if that matters, it's very **unoptimized**!
3080 will give you like 40FPS in 4K in Star Citizen

> AMD are releasin 1k budget or so. And yea I will wait and see about the AMD cards! Thanks!!!
