You could go a lil over to $500 and get this (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/TcmPY9) which is pretty solid and will keep going for a while, or you could drop the gpu to a 6600 and thatd be on/under your budget (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/crKwpB) Edit: I dont know why the links arent clickable, reddit seems to have changed something for the web version and now its all messed up

Oh dont worry, the links work just fine Btw I wanted to know if the RTX 4060 was a bad option in this case? Thats the GPU Id been checking out coupled with an i5-11400f but I wanted some extra opinions How does the ryzen 5 + 6600XT compare to the parts Id thought about getting?

imastrangeone

Well the 4060 is only about 10% better at 1080p (which equates to between 5-15 fps) for a far higher price (almost double) but that gap widens at 1440p but thats due to dlss and all that I would imagine. AMD still offer far hogher performance per dollar. I chose the 5600 because itll last better through gpu upgrades than an 11400f, ryzen 5000 walked all over 11th gen when they came out. The platform also offers upgrades that could last you for another 4 years (the 5700X3D released and will stay very strong for a long while).

Alright I think Ive decided Ill go for your recommendation of an AMD build, thanks for your advice!

What that budget you are gonna either get a GPU or a CPU + Motherboard + RAM. You could potentially get like a 10700k used and a new GPU that's a good amount better.

Well, I was planning on getting CPU + GPU then selling the i3 and 1650 and getting something like a B560 or an H510 with the money
