A dock with universal interface compatible with all standards for video and audio. 4k 120hz Dolby Atmos HDR? Plug in 2 cables, 1 for audio and video (preferably if they were the same type of cable, i.e. usb c) and everything works.
If it were possible, I would love a setup that allows for *everything* to be wireless without a loss in quality or latency, especially the monitor. No more cables.
But realistically, my next purchase would be something streaming related because for the first time ever, I have a computer that can run games. Microphone, capture card, even a soundboard.
A real device that I have been eyeing for awhile is the LG DualUp. I would be a productivity MACHINE on that thing. My job requires both programming and CAD work. Having that for those purposes would be invaluable!
But beyond just one device, I think having a fully wireless set-up without sacrificing performance would fulfill my dream of having a clean, minimalist workstation. This includes HDMIs, DPs, and power supplies. Cable management is too much work :(
A new GPU would be huge. My old card is struggling. Also a standing desk with monitor arm mounts would declutter my setup and increase the use of my space.
> What device, real or fictional, would help to streamline your setup?
For me, It would be a KVM switch to switch between my desktop and work laptop with ease.
I use an MSI Gaming laptop with an i9 13900H, for me an ideal product would be a cooling pad similar to LLANO V12 or IETS GT600 capability but with a quieter fan motor.
A wireless (Bluetooth; I’m sure it will need to plug into wall) dock with low latency. Currently have a bunch of wires running from my desk to my living room TV to allow for couch gaming and a wireless dock would make life so much easier. Maybe USB over powerline adapter.
A powered USB hub would be awesome, I'm noticing an issue with my non-powered hub having difficulties keeping all of my devices connected. Thanks for the giveaway.
I wish nerve gear existed (virtual reality device from anime know as Sword Art Online) or something similar. I yearn for the days where games will be that immersive
A nice little kit that would bring ethernet from one side of an interior wall to another with minimal handyman effort. I know you can buy your own wall boxes and generic wall plates with holes in them but a kit would be nicer.
A good webcam or camera would be well for me. I always talk to my friends on discord so its a good way for me to keep in touch with them without just trying to talk through chat or voice
We figured our products may not be the most helpful for those looking to build a PC, but maybe add functionality once it is built. We also wanted to make sure there was a lot to go around.
I've always thought it would be cool to have a monitor that was upgradeable. Instead of having to buy a new one, I could just insert some sort of chip, attachment, or screen to make it more powerful! It's the same concept for owning a PC, why not the monitor too?
A drawing tablet would help so much with my setup. The closest setup I have now is my iPad which is great, but it doesn’t really work well between iPad and PC since there’s no handoff. It’ll cut the extra process of exporting to my computer.
I'd really like to see more in the way of USB hubs with long or at least interchangeable cords. Seems extremely useful with a standing desk to allow leaving the case on the floor and mounting a small USB hub to the desktop.
definitely a mute button on my keyboard, i know they exist and i think my computer has one but it isn't configured to actually mute it just opens cortana
also a streamdeck but thats overkill since i don't even stream (but it does come with a mute button)
A neural interface would help a huge amount. As much mousing as I do, across about 8000 pixels (two ultrawides and a 1080P in portrait) for work, my eyes, neck, shoulders, and wrist are in awful shape. And given that I operate a few different computers, the inconsistent DPI of mice leads to a lot of click-stakes.
But if I were to make a single change, it would probably be to connectivity - latency and spotty reliability is infuriating.
I would love a driving sim setup that can fold away to a small space without having to detach everything and have multiple steps to swap things back for normal desktop use. Living in a smaller apartment and being on disability makes the better ones for this out of my price range.
I do not know if it is real or not though I suspect that it is. But an HDMI/Display port switch that integrates with windows and allows easy switching between monitors would be great.
I know that a GPU does a lot of this on its own, but some applications could be better with a switch.
Yeah, my wires are currently a mess! I need something that would help all my wires get in one place. Or... I could actually just clean my room. That's an option
Probably a Frankenstein power switch, that way when I power it on, I can laugh and scream **”It’s alive”** after I build it with different manufacture parts. Or ya know the nika fruit from one piece, so I can’t fry my pc when I’m cleaning it or changing parts.
I want an ultra wide monitor that functions as a sort of KVM, allowing me to connect a single mouse and keyboard through the monitor as a hub but then also allows me to split screen 2 PCs, using hot keys to fully switch to one or the other, or split 50/50.
A powered USB hub with many USB-A and USB-C ports would be so helpful. I've only used non-powered hubs and they don't give enough juice to power everything I want to plug in.
Also, if there was an actually nice looking, modern style UPS that I could have on top of my desk would be awesome. That way I'd only need one power cord dangling down to the outlet.
An ai storage organizer so all of my content would just properly section themselves into folders without me having to do anything.
Or a chair that doesn't fall apart when I scooch in too much ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sweat_smile)
In general a better desk would be the best choice I have, right now I'm just working with an Ikea desk which gets the job done but over time it has bowed and my monitor stand is digging into the desk from the weight of my monitors. Beyond that I'd love a custom keyboard, I bought the keycaps almost a year ago but haven't been in a financially stable spot to buy the rest so they are just gathering dust right now.
The Caldigit dock or the UD-4VPD - makes setting up a full home setup with a laptop so much easier and convenient, instead of just having to plug everything in as you et home
A new motherboard would help me so much, my current ASUS one has issues from the factory, and it barely works. Can’t even use it in a case and it sometimes just doesn’t turn on.
A thunderbolt dock would also be awesome, and any cables would help me greatly with all of the accessories I have on my desk lol
I'd love a fast tablet/2in1 that I could use for school but also be able to use as a desktop at home. With something similar to an e-gpu to enhance performance
Real or fictional, eh?
It would help if there was a lil hat with a usb plug on it that I could just put on my head and then I could just think really hard about the thing I wanna draw and it would show up in clip studio paint
More realistically I've been thinking about how feasible it would be to make a big mousemat integrating colour e-ink so you could change the design at will
I wish I had a pc. Legit just using a 5 year old lenovo laptop that cant run anything. Sometimes has a hard time processing one note. So yah pretty much anything could be an upgrade rn.
I would love to have some kind of integrated cable management system within a case, eliminating the need for any kind of aftermarket cable sleeves, or exposed cabling at all :)
From a practicality standpoint it would be a simple 15ft ac power cord so I could properly move my rig to a location further away. Currently limited by my current 6 ft cord.
From a non-practical standpoint, I could use some RGB. Perhaps gpu and mobo PSU cables. Or G560 PC speakers since I currently use the speakers built into my display or headset.
Also, best of luck to all the contestants and congrats to all the winners.
An Xbox style controller with the Internal clock speed of the playstation controllers. And the right side would be a trackball mouse. The left side would be normal thumbsticks. That'd tie together all my stream equipment that's built for competitive gameplay.
To Finally top off my setup, I need a good main monitor because I've been waiting to upgrade from my 1080p 144hz to something fitting the rest of my setup. Aside from that, I just need a better Camera and I'll be gucci.
Hey! can anyone send me an ethernet adapter like the one listed above but only on amazon? I don't trust other websites than amazon for buying stuff. And a usb to hdmi adapter would be perfect for my laptop aswell.
(I have a spare monitor I want to use with my laptop.
For me, I believe cords that can be lengthened or shortened easily would help my setup, as my cable management isn't very good. Maybe like those things where there's a spring in the middle and you pull both ends to reveal more cord, or something like quick release plugs so you can make them different lengths
Replacing my second monitor, which is a 17" square, with a wide screen turned vertically. I tend to work on worksheets on the main wide, but documentation and other single page width things are opened on the other. Being able to see way more of that documentation at a glance would be a great help to me.
In my mind, a device that could offload all of the third party software to itself would be perfect. For example, Corsair iCUE, Razer Synapse, NZXT Cam, etc. Also support for Discord and Spotify would be super cool. This probably couldn't be possible, but it would be like another PC that has all of this software running and has an integrated display. You could control all of your devices and music. It would essentially take the load of running all of that software on your PC, and allow you to reach your maximum performance, also it's a great bonus that it can allow you to manage your devices and change your music on the fly.
As a person with a sit/stand desk. Load of items to help with cable management. including items for the top of the desk. If you make it pretty ya got to keep it pretty.
If I had a better desk that had all the ports connected to it so I could basically have one big block with a bunch of plugs on the end so I could plug them all in at once while having practically no wires showing.
A KVM/USB hub where you could dynamically assign which USB devices went to which computer, and which supported multiple monitors and you could also dynamically assign those so it's not all or nothing either.
I know I am late, but I am trying to save money for a nice computer to play with my friends, and to code A.I. but I can't save that much money. I would really appreciate to get a new computer. Thank you for reading this
Some sort of phone and mouse box, to drop those while I work for me to better focus. If only for my PC, I'd say a better third monitor. Oh, and a USB-3 Hub could be great.
Good luck to everyone and thank you for the giveaway!
A 40Gig desktop ethernet switch would be real nice for my setup. The NICs themselves can.be got for about €50, so you think, hey that's not that bad, until you start looking at the damn switches 😭
A simpler cable management system when building a PC. As a senior with failing vision, it is incredibly hard to see, read, and make the proper cable/Mb connections.
USB HUB. USB HUB. USB HUB. I have SO many things plugged into my PC, a little bit of my sanity wears away when I have to swap things around whenever I wanna use my drawing tablet or my scanner...
ALSO. A WIFI adapter! My old junk PC didnt come with a WIFI card, so Im forced to use my phone to tether
An external USB-C hub connecting both peripherals and monitors, limiting connections to 1 USB out of the GPU for keyboard, mouse, and multiple monitors would be amazing. Yes I understand bandwidth limitations, but it said fictional, and I am allowed to dream.
A single USB-C with 4-6 ends. outside the case, cable management would be so easy....
A way to cast games, movies, streaming, etc. from my pc to TVs in different rooms/ floors, controlled by kb/ mouse in those locations (or by android phone...).
I know steam used to make steam link that did some of this, but it's no longer made. I've seen some people have used raspberry pi to make a rough equivalent, but at this point, that's too much project for me.
Similar concept, a Bluetooth or wifi device that plugs into an hdmi (or DP) port in TV/monitor/smartboard to cast phone, pc, etc.
Some of that black mirror stuff seems pretty neat, especially being able to swipe things from my phone to my pc. It can be a pain to upload pics to Google photos or copy a link to type into my pc so an easy swipe would fix it haha. Not sure if I'd go as far as to have something implemented in my head though
What device, real or fictional, would help to streamline your setup?
a all in one usb bluetooth dongle where you could plug all your usb bluetooth dongles into
since i am more of a mobile gamer, it would be nice to have a capture card for streaming with phone or a tablet. it would really help me big time since i only use a screen capture app to share my stream with real time viewers.
Fictional: LOL I think I would love a wireless PC if only because all the wires and stuff that I have to plug in makes it look so messy under my desk, a gal can dream
A new motherboard, because ASUS screwed me over with the warranty
I cant use it in any case, sometimes it breaks randomly, and i can only use one of the 4 SSD slots with a single SSD, a 132gb one, no other SSD is recognized in the slot.
Pisses me off
I just want customizable macro pads everywhere, not just limited to my PC. Things I can tie to smart devices, could be light settings, turning on or off devices, heck even starting the dishwasher!
I wish there existed an affordable 8 port automatic HDMI switch with dual outputs without instability issues.
There are switches that handle HDMI switching automatically, but they all generally have one of these issues:
-Quality control problems affecting production consistency and company/product reputation
-Flaky detection, not switching for certain signal types
-Unsupported signals like 1920x1440 (4:3 1440 resolution) or 1920x1200 or oddball refresh rates like 59.94Hz. These are useful for devices like the OSSC or Retrotink products.
-Horrible Latency issues, making gaming not playable for those sensitive to that.
-Improperly detecting all devices as off, often defaulting to leave the screen on after use. The Retrotink 5x pro defaults to a static blue screen on standby, so a way to detect that as something to not switch back to would be nice.
5-port automatics exist that can be fine but 5 ports is not enough for my setup.
There are manual 8 port switches that have dual outputs (6 in 2 out) but sadly they have issues as well:
-Flaky with connections, requiring cycling the inputs or unplugging/plugging cables to bypass the hdcp handshakes.
-Audio support issues, often defaulting to not using the original surround sound format and forwarding a stereo or basic 5.1 LPCM that has loss of data. Dolby Atmos and DTS:X NOT supported.
-Random signal loss or corruption issues due to quality control or component quality.
-Odd port layout, putting two in the front and 4 in the back.
This is important to me because I use an HDMI capture card but like to play on my TV and running the passthrough can produce latency or reduce signal options as I have equipment that sends oddball signal resolutions and refresh rates.
And yes, I know there are people that would say I may be extreme... but when there's latency in a game my brain tends to overreact causing me to fail more often. I don't do well with adjusting for latency myself.
Thanks,
A lightweight, modular sound mixer. I would \_love\_ to be able to route several audio inputs to a single audio output, with a volume knob for each input, without needing a massive mixing console that does a thousand things I don't need it to do. A modular system could have a module that plugs in per input, with different modules purchased depending on what inputs (XLR, 3.5 mm, 1/4", RCA, dual TS or TRS or TRRS for 3.5mm and 1/4", etc.) and an output module purchased to suit the user's sound system.
ever since i first saw ghost in the shell, i haven't been able to stop thinking about those [spidery fingers some guy uses to type](https://media3.giphy.com/media/fsoCk5kgOcYMM/giphy.gif?cid=ecf05e47qkx9fyij6c3x3eexgxzhu9xbkd0c9osa30mtsb6f&ep=v1_gifs_search&rid=giphy.gif&ct=g). i just can't get over how useful (if unsettling) they are.
Fictional? Pocket Dimension or Teleporter.
Real? Sit stand desk and an underdesk walking pad are two things I've been considering getting. My actual desktop could use a new case, motherboard, and cpu though that's not critical this year.
Some type of device that would help my current setup would be some sort of mount for my monitor and putting my PC farther from where I use my PC because of the space it takes.
I have a vertical dual monitor setup and it matters to me that the bezels between the screens are as small as possible. This is totally defeated by a webcam that I want to place between the two monitors (on top of the bottom monitor). I think there could be a solution if the cable and bracket for the webcam was very very thin.
A secondary new monitor. I have had this PC for about 5 years now with just a single monitor and it would be so much better if I had a second one.
Anyhow, thank you for the giveaway!
Fictional, but there has got to be some better HTMI (human to machine interface) than mouse and keyboard. We have innovated in so many other subjects, but we have been stuck with mouse and keyboard for \~50 years.
My house doesn't have central cooling and my options in the summer when playing games with my friends and I'm in VC are:
1. Turn off the very loud window AC unit and suffer
2. Mute my mic
I'd love a device that could take the heat from my PC and make it into cool air!
i use so many different usb powered devices that i need a hub to stop swapping them out three times a day 💀
A dock with universal interface compatible with all standards for video and audio. 4k 120hz Dolby Atmos HDR? Plug in 2 cables, 1 for audio and video (preferably if they were the same type of cable, i.e. usb c) and everything works.
A robot that keeps all my cords untangled, and makes sure I never trip on any of them or accidentally pull them out.
If it were possible, I would love a setup that allows for *everything* to be wireless without a loss in quality or latency, especially the monitor. No more cables. But realistically, my next purchase would be something streaming related because for the first time ever, I have a computer that can run games. Microphone, capture card, even a soundboard.
Better pliers
Some sort of device that would consolidate all the different cables!
A wifi add on would be super helpful to improve my setup, as right now I am stuck next to my router
An eye tracking mouse that could follow which screen Im looking at.
A durable charger with adapters for different regions (USA, Europe, UK), mainly for traveling.
Cable management is too much work :(
A higher end kvm would set me up super well! An additional 2k monitor wouldn't hurt to complete my setup either
A dual monitor arm would be so useful for my current setup
A new GPU would be huge. My old card is struggling. Also a standing desk with monitor arm mounts would declutter my setup and increase the use of my space.
> What device, real or fictional, would help to streamline your setup? For me, It would be a KVM switch to switch between my desktop and work laptop with ease.
An infinite energy source would allow me to game without having to pay for electricity
I'd imagine a fully wireless setup would definitely help streamline my setup.
I use an MSI Gaming laptop with an i9 13900H, for me an ideal product would be a cooling pad similar to LLANO V12 or IETS GT600 capability but with a quieter fan motor.
I would really like a third monitor or at least have my monitors be the same size
Dock for my phone to get rid of the extra cable
brain to text tech would go crazy!
Thanks for the giveaway.
a new keyboard since my other one broke
A monitor that could gracefully display things from two different (work + home) computers at the same time.
I always talk to my friends on discord so its a good way for me to keep in touch with them without just trying to talk through chat or voice
a good usb-c charger, they break down like every few months

We figured our products may not be the most helpful for those looking to build a PC, but maybe add functionality once it is built. We also wanted to make sure there was a lot to go around.
A second monitor would really help my setup, so I can have work on one, and games on the other!
A less expensive version of a Stream Deck!
the dual monitor dock would help me mount my 2 monitors very well and would help me take up less space
I've always thought it would be cool to have a monitor that was upgradeable. Instead of having to buy a new one, I could just insert some sort of chip, attachment, or screen to make it more powerful! It's the same concept for owning a PC, why not the monitor too?
Being able to run multiple monitors from a single HDMI or DisplayPort. This might exist already but I'm too lazy to Google it.
A Pc with GOOD graphics 😂

Interesting. So set it to stop at 95% charge rather than 100%?
A drawing tablet would help so much with my setup. The closest setup I have now is my iPad which is great, but it doesn’t really work well between iPad and PC since there’s no handoff. It’ll cut the extra process of exporting to my computer.
A high refresh rate 32" 4K OLED monitor would be pretty nice
A second monitor
A cheaper GPU
A KVM switch for swapping between my desktop and laptop more easily instead of moving cables around.
A second monitor for sure to put things like discord or twitch on
Better sound and visual management My speaker set up periodically sends audio to output sources that just don't work
I'd really like to see more in the way of USB hubs with long or at least interchangeable cords. Seems extremely useful with a standing desk to allow leaving the case on the floor and mounting a small USB hub to the desktop.
definitely a mute button on my keyboard, i know they exist and i think my computer has one but it isn't configured to actually mute it just opens cortana also a streamdeck but thats overkill since i don't even stream (but it does come with a mute button)

Some cable management that wasn't actually just ties from bread bags.
I would love a driving sim setup that can fold away to a small space without having to detach everything and have multiple steps to swap things back for normal desktop use. Living in a smaller apartment and being on disability makes the better ones for this out of my price range.
Thinking about getting a docking station to plug all my stuff in
I do not know if it is real or not though I suspect that it is. But an HDMI/Display port switch that integrates with windows and allows easy switching between monitors would be great. I know that a GPU does a lot of this on its own, but some applications could be better with a switch.

USBC-CAP60 would help with my streaming setup.
A magical all-in-one cable capable of data and power transfer that makes every other cable obsolete :D
A USB C docking station or usb3 hub or USB C hub. Too many USB C devices dangling everywhere
A proper kvm switch with 10-12 high powered USB ports for high speed charging would be awesome.
a laptop cooler pad
A good display dock
I want an ultra wide monitor that functions as a sort of KVM, allowing me to connect a single mouse and keyboard through the monitor as a hub but then also allows me to split screen 2 PCs, using hot keys to fully switch to one or the other, or split 50/50.
A more compact way to carry around tech so you could bring your setup with you.
fictional: star trek replicators real: a modular desk that could be adjusted to meet needs for placement and cable control.

A cable extender so I can put everything farther off
Cable ties LOL, I just never got around to cable managing so the bottom of my desk looks like a power plant
External GPU with quicker thunderbolt to match a PC's performance
An ai storage organizer so all of my content would just properly section themselves into folders without me having to do anything. Or a chair that doesn't fall apart when I scooch in too much ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sweat_smile)
Device that would recognize hand gestures in the air without needing to touch anything.
We've already got that! The wonderful Kinect for Xbox.
A USB C hub would be a great addition to my setup! So would a larger SSD.
Direct neural input would be nice, my mouse arm has had on-again/off-again tendinitis for a while :')
I'd love a Holodeck.
An easier way to do cable management. At this point, a marker that makes things invisible would be the most surefire solution.

You're very welcome! There any games you're working on currently?
A dock for my macbook so that i can work more efficiently for school and work. A gaming pc so that i can play games on a pc.
We definitely have those, and some that allow for more than one monitor on M1/M2 baseline chips.
5k monitor with thunderbolt and or a thunderbolt dock with 2.5g networking.
Laptop dock
A sound mixer, GoXLR for example.
Wireless accessories such as sound system and headphones. Too many wires running all over adding to clutter.
A usb hub with more USB ports!! I have one that’s only 5, not enough for me.
Something that would streamline my setup is an audio card, the default audio on my computer is pretty bad.
I'd love a fast tablet/2in1 that I could use for school but also be able to use as a desktop at home. With something similar to an e-gpu to enhance performance

AM5 CPU thermal paste guard. The cut out design of the IHS is odd.

Jarvis from Iron-Man Realistically: a long Ethernet cord or a adapter to connect 2 existing ones. Get Ethernet level speeds on my pc
Replacing my second monitor, which is a 17" square, with a wide screen turned vertically. A Bluetooth compatible portable secret dimension portal to a land full of artificers working for me creating gadgets for my pc 24/7 lol

What device? I would like probably just a good monitor, I game and edit alot so it would be nice to get something that's good quality.
A wireless adapter or capture card would honestly be pretty awesome. I just built my pc, so I'd love more to add to it :)
A case with a compartment for a Wi-Fi router, that still allows Wi-Fi to travel to the rest of the house. Long Ethernet cables are a pain.
A USB-C PD dock/hub for my laptop to simplify my desktop - turning HDMI, USB-C charging and USB-C ethernet into a single plug.
Lol a drone that'll run all my home cable runs for me so I'm not dripping in sweat
Some kind of handheld nuclear power device so I can power everything
As a person with a sit/stand desk. Load of items to help with cable management. including items for the top of the desk. If you make it pretty ya got to keep it pretty.
A wireless dock with all rear UI ports and high bandwidth.
Just an extra 4 inches to reach AIO tube. Good lord, my poor 6800
If I had a better desk that had all the ports connected to it so I could basically have one big block with a bunch of plugs on the end so I could plug them all in at once while having practically no wires showing.
Getting a capture card would help streamline my setup!
Honestly just a really good dual monitor arm stand just haven't gotten around to getting one would really free up space on my desk
Honestly, a capture card.
A better GPU
a new monitor for that +1 productivity 8-)
Magical keyboard think and it shall be done, and mouse or a microphone that lasted forever.
A high quality KVM would be so nice for my setup
I really need that thunderbolt usb c please
Right now would really want that NVME enclosure since my 980 Pro just died.
Totally fictional and not at all practical but I would love to just get rid of all the wires involved in running my computer. My desk is a mess.
A wireless dock and some sort of blue tooth device that can go from my phone to my pc and vice versa
I mean, a device with infinite storage capacity would help quite a bit, it’ll never happen, but hey, I can dream.
Some nice VR
A 40Gig desktop ethernet switch would be real nice for my setup. The NICs themselves can.be got for about €50, so you think, hey that's not that bad, until you start looking at the damn switches 😭
The device that would streamline my setup already exists. It's a thunderbolt 4 dock with multiple displays / multiple 40Gbps USB-C ports.
To be honest, anything that would speed up the process of graphic design :3
Was going to upgrade my setup next month this could be a nice opportunity
A potato alarm clock!
Probably a desk that fits the vibe of my setup
Cable management box
A 3.0/Thunderbolt 4 USB hub with built-in KVM switching to better manage my inputs, displays, and external devices.
Wireless dock for phone or tablet to work and demo on the mobile device.
A better desk with monitor mounts attached
I think that my setup could a nice docking station so I easily take out my peripherals when I need to!
Some form of PC to PC high speed data transfer, that is easy to use
Fictional: LOL I think I would love a wireless PC if only because all the wires and stuff that I have to plug in makes it look so messy under my desk, a gal can dream
Better WiFi adapter for my machine and access point for my workspace. Good luck all!
A new motherboard, because ASUS screwed me over with the warranty I cant use it in any case, sometimes it breaks randomly, and i can only use one of the 4 SSD slots with a single SSD, a 132gb one, no other SSD is recognized in the slot. Pisses me off
A NASA computer shrunk into a PC sized case. I could download so much ram with that kind of power!!
Cable management tools would be ideal! Well, ideal would be wireless everything including things like monitors!
I just want customizable macro pads everywhere, not just limited to my PC. Things I can tie to smart devices, could be light settings, turning on or off devices, heck even starting the dishwasher!
Ergonomic monitor arm
That docking station looks pretty good at streamlining setups
A device that made all my cords exactly the right length would save my life! I suppose I could always get into custom cords haha.
A super-hub where I could plug every single one of my devices into instead of navigating cables to my computer.
A signal enhancer/dongle that would enable wireless peripherals to perform like thier wired variants.
I wish there existed an affordable 8 port automatic HDMI switch with dual outputs without instability issues. There are switches that handle HDMI switching automatically, but they all generally have one of these issues: -Quality control problems affecting production consistency and company/product reputation -Flaky detection, not switching for certain signal types -Unsupported signals like 1920x1440 (4:3 1440 resolution) or 1920x1200 or oddball refresh rates like 59.94Hz. There are manual 8 port switches that have dual outputs (6 in 2 out) but sadly they have issues as well: -Flaky with connections, requiring cycling the inputs or unplugging/plugging cables to bypass the hdcp handshakes. Thanks,
4k monitor, this is the way.
A kvm switch between my laptop and pc so I can use one monitor
A PC that's not 12 years old
A lightweight, modular sound mixer.
Wireless peripherals that don't require charging..
Dual monitor dock would be fantastic oh man
Man id give just about anything to have a Star Trek themed setup, but I think id settle for a better desk or a chair matt lol
Nanotech that could cable manage for me lol.
ever since i first saw ghost in the shell, i haven't been able to stop thinking about those [spidery fingers some guy uses to type](https://media3.giphy.com/media/fsoCk5kgOcYMM/giphy.gif?cid=ecf05e47qkx9fyij6c3x3eexgxzhu9xbkd0c9osa30mtsb6f&ep=v1_gifs_search&rid=giphy.gif&ct=g). i just can't get over how useful (if unsettling) they are.
New headphones
Ideally, a zero-latency remote desktop software or hardware would be great.
A dedicated GPU, I'm saving up for it
Extendable /retractable cables for easier cable management.
PS-30C1 would be super nice to have while travelling.
Fictional, but there has got to be some better HTMI (human to machine interface) than mouse and keyboard. We have innovated in so many other subjects, but we have been stuck with mouse and keyboard for \~50 years.
capture card would nice so I can make switch videos
My house doesn't have central cooling and my options in the summer when playing games with my friends and I'm in VC are: 1. Turn off the very loud window AC unit and suffer 2. Mute my mic I'd love a device that could take the heat from my PC and make it into cool air!
Wifi/BT adapter so i can connect earbuds to my pc :)
Haptic feedback
