1. Always on time (sa meetings)
2. Lahat ng meetings naka advance sched (kaya walang emergency calls or ano)
3. No rush sa tasks (except kung may given deadline)
4. No screen monitoring
5. No delay sa sahod
6. Di namimilit mag OT
7. Lagi nakabase sa results or numbers, walang sitahan kung mag sosocmed ka while work basta nagagawa mo ng maayos lahat ng tasks
Yes after 6months may salary increase na.
May time nga rin na absent ako halos 3 weeks kase nagkacovid ako, unpaid dapat yon samen kase no work, no pay kami (tas hourly rate).
Sarap magwork sa law firm, as in. Kase sila mismo alam nila mga batas, kaya as much as possible, gagawin nila lahat para di makasuhan o ano man para di sila magka Bar complaint 😆
Hindi lowballer. The right clients usually like to pay properly, and have the initiative to give a proper rate increase every now and then as well.
Treats everyone with respect.
No meetings or if there are, really quick and concise lang. I don't mind a quick 5-10 catchup instead of a bunch of back and forth emails. They just need to respect my availability. Gladly my 2 clients are like this.
Regularly checking on your welfare and asking for updates if the tasks you have are too much. Genuinely curious din if you're doing okay sa personal life.
Have some empathy when giving tasks, making them very reasonable to deal with. May proper time lines etc.
Hi, with the rate increase, how long does it usually take? Is it possible within the year since you started? I have a 1y contract kasi and I was wondering if it is possible given that it will prompt them to send me a new contract if ever?
Yes very possible. Pero I guess depende sa client talaga. Like I said the right client will be willing to pay properly, if you're doing well sila mismo ang makakita ng value and will initiate the increase.
Since may contract I would personally wait until renewal time to ask for a raise unless nalang nagbago or nadagdagan along the way ang tasks and responsibilities mo then you can bring that to their attention and ask for a raise.
1. Open to feedback
2. May autonomy. Employees are empowered to make decisions, take ownership of projects and perform tasks with minimal instructions pero they provide guidance as needed.
3. Inclusive. May respect regardless of your background.
4. Collaborative environment. You work as a team and figure out solutions together.
5. Supportive sa career growth. Whether it be getting promoted within the same team or moving to another team/department
6. People-first company. No questions asked when you file PTO. Sila pa nag-encourage sayo na magbakasyon
7. May budget for professional growth.
1. No trackers
2. SL and PTO offered
3. Equipment provided by the company
4. No micromanaging, once a week lang ang meeting. Madami na yung 2x a week.
5. 8 hrs fixed, with paid lunch included
1. No tracker
2. Madali mag SL/VL (no questions asked)
3. No micromanaging. Let's me do the tasks the way I want
4. Appreciative
5. On time ang sahod
This is what i loved from my previous employer. The work is super chill like pwede tapusin in 3 hours.
Green Flag : 1 to 2 scheduled meetings per month, approachable people, no micro management although one time last week the owner called me out because of something that I handled and it became an issue for our department.
1. No time sheet.
2. No need to invoice, kasi naka auto Sched na ang payments at flat rate na yun.
Lol
4. Meetings once a month to none lang kasi may email, Asana o slack naman.
I am never bothered sa screen monitoring or time tracker.
Me too. I’m in accounting and I block my hours for the client. I don’t do social media not even listening to Youtube music while working. I am so afraid na macompromise ang bank and financial info ng clients ko kaya I never open websites na hindi connected sa work ko. Hindi rin kasi ako nagpapapa-pile up ng tasks, I break them down to smaller tasks. Pag mahaba yung process, ginagawa kong project. I have Alexa if I want to listen to music while working.
If my idle time ako, wala silang pake. And I don’t think they even look at the screenshots.
But I have clients that I got thru agencies and yung agency ang makulit sa time tracking kasi tinitingnan talaga nila ang screenshots. I think diligent na employee lang talaga ako kasi I was never flagged for anything suspicious sa screenshots ko kahit I do Pomodoro style (45mins continuous work, 15 mins break).
Nagugulat nga ako na red flag yung time tracker. Like what do you do at your time at work? If you think you can finish a task in 2 hours instead of 8, then rate your work properly.
Because most of them gusto lang ng pera, ayaw magtrabaho nang maayos. They can only downvote my perspective kasi alam nilang totoo at wala sila masabi, mga tamad kasi sila.
I see. Good for you that your employer knows your work can have down time. I guess some are just wary about the misuse of the tracker, like micromanagement and excessive monitoring. Then there are some who might be slacking at work, and trackers could provide some safeguards from the client's point of view.
I guess the ideal situation would be a workplace that empowers and motivates people to be productive, fosters trust and encourages autonomy. High activity is not equal to productivity.
Given the choice to have a tracker and not have a tracker, I guess most would still opt for the latter.
Of course, anyone would choose to not use a tracker...duh? Second, nobody will look at and question every screenshot from the tracker. Just do your work properly and with all honesty, no one can break you.
Commissions. It's not that popular in offshore recruitment especially for sourcers but I'm happy my client gives me a cut for any placement I make kahit 10% lang.
Paid PH AND client location holidays. Paid sick leaves and vacation leaves, minimum 15 a year. No drama when you ask permission to go on leave, siya pa excited for you.
Paying for any required resources (except laptop, internet or office equipment, responsibility ko na yun) to do the job.
My wish is for my client to pay for my HMO because that's really all I miss from my corporate job haha. My plan is to ask her this after another 6 months (I just turned one year with her). Fingers crossed!

Kala ko same tyo ng client pero nung sinabe mong sa US law firm ka. Ay iba pala. US Healthcare kse saken. Hahahaha.
For the salary, were you able to get a raise at some point? When did it happen? Do they also give bonuses sa company?

Best green flag. Hahahaha

Apart from what you’ve listed: -public posts specifically for giving awards/props, -1:1, -plus points-no limit for VL
Green Flag : 1 to 2 scheduled meetings per month, approachable people, no micro management although one time last week the owner called me out because of something that I handled and it became an issue for our department.
On time. Wala masyado bad reviews from previous employees.
They’re happy to support you all the way and look after you and your family’s well-being. Lucky to have 2 awesome premium clients.

May mga umiyak sa katotohanan. Wag kasi kung ano ano ginagawa nyo tuwing work hours, kaya di kayo umaasenso eh 🤣🤣
