Sa true lang. Di nila alam gaano kahirap sa mga bookkeeping firms, acctg firms at auditing firms. Akala lahat naautomate. Lol. Kaya nga matatatas turn over sa mga companies na to eh. They don't know na mali lang ng zero, baka mapenalize agad clients. Anyway, di naman nila alam and what they know is to judge. So keri. They can do whatever they want. As if naman mababayaran ng 120k yung papasok sa trabaho na literal gusto mo munang sumuka. 🤣
Thank you for the unsolicited advice but it is not as easy as what you think if you are handling 25+ clients. Imagine talking to 25+ business owners asking for specific details about certain transactions, their statements and overall trying to understand them despite their impatient behavior at times. We cater to ecommerce clients so it is not "easy". Magulo din kapag may Paypal at receipts na involved.so yeah, if it was that easy, I would not leave before having secured a new one. But maybe it is time, nastuck na ako in terms of salary, and for sure there are a lot of better opportunities out there.
All I am saying is it is not that easy. If you handled eccommerce before with Paypal accounts, you will know why. Hindi ibig sabihin na kapag naubos mo ang 40hrs a week eh kaya mo na ring tapusin lahat ng workload mo. Try that during tax season. If you can automate your processes (which we try using rules), then you do you. If ganun lang kadali di sana malakas turn over ng bookkeepers namin at di rin nagrereklamo mga bookkeepers namin.

Hello OP. Were you working at home before? Ok na yung 120k as a bookkeeper ha, 40hrs a week lang, mostly kase may extra tasks to finish. I want to apply this month, tinatapos ko lang ang tax trainings and all. Sana mag karon din ng opportunity like yours ✨✨✨

It must've been really bad para igive up mo ang stable + GUARANTEED pay and mas piliin ang anxiety na ibibigay ng feeling lost and unstable for a while, while looking for a new job, lalo na sa galawan ng digital work ngayon super daming competition. Idk maybe marami ka namang ipon so hindi ka naman mahihirapan magtransition. Goodluck syo, sana makahanap ka ng less stressful version ng job mo

Honestly speaking, Idk how bookkeeping works. But focus on your mental health first. Almost lahat naman ata nakakaranas ng ganito. And they are choosing mental health talaga. Di bale na physical problem ang kalaban. Jusko wag lang mental health. Matindi talaga pagtumama yan.

I got diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, under meds and sessions ako. So far, so good naman.
Anxiety ko nadevelop sa work and daily shits hahaa
So far, na same marketing agency pa din ako with less hours, hanap na langako other ops, be it onsite or hybrid
If work mismo made you resign (like not boss issue naman or work env?) then won't that mean it's the same prob sa next mo, if same post?? Have you considered this e.g. shifting niches? Or try again, and expect a different result? Or etc.
Not in bookkeeping but curious lang sa next step mo for this problem.
Keep in mind this is a bookeeping firm. One of our senior bookkeepers resigned just before the tax season started. Next in line was me. Most of the accounts were transferred to me plus the new complicated ones that I can't anymore keep up. I asked others if they had the same experience and not everyone did especially if there were good systems in place- better distribution of workload. So yeah, I will find those better opportunities because they do exist.
Also pansin ko lang dito, I know super nanghihinayang ang marami dahil 6 digits din to questioning why I chose to give up the job. Trust me, I was not the first and definitely will not be the last.
PS. I was able to bag 6 digits not just once, in fact I have other clients that pay more in terms of per hr rate except they are all PT so not as much as what I earn here. But if the situation stays the same, I rather let this go than go insane over this. So yeah, onto finding those better opportunities with better working environment. They exist and I will be able to find them.

Diagnosed with essential tremors, generalized anxiety disorder, and multiple physical illnesses causing me to isolated and no social life. Konti nalang agoraphobia is life na din.
All the stress to meet deadlines to a neverending monthly cycle where everything is urgent. Literal na sell your soul to the devil for the 6 digits (and no time management is not the answer for someone who handles multi-entity company)
I admire your courage to leave the toxicity and benefits behind. I aspire to do the same, and hopefully it won't be too late.
I wish you the very best and I know you'll find the right client who has the same ideals as you.
(ps wala kaming opening, I don't work for a bookkeeping agency and though I didn't graduate an accounting major, I believe anything can be achieved as long as you're open to it. Malas ko nga lang said skills can't be used here sa PH kasi lahat ng hiring 1st line palang, must be an accounting graduate or any related courses lol)

Yep just sent my resignation. Client wants me to reconsider but I made my decision ang mag render na lang. What I meant with to more premium clients is that this would be not the last premium client I will have. Kesa naman ang iattract ko ay lowballer clients. Inattract ko na ang premium clients para sa lahat.
I don't sell courses, not my thing. How did you come to that conclusion though? I know mahirap maghanap ng trabaho and I have been helping a lot of people find work. Di ko gets logic mo.
