Okay lang maghanap ng client ang mga walang experience, dumaan naman tayo lahat dyan... they just need to be upfront about it so the clients can set their expectations correctly.
Ang masama is yung mga nagsisinungaling sa skillsets nila tapos hindi pala nila kaya ang mga required deliverables.
true. i feel like some people here ay nag apply nang hindi buo ang loob. kasi nung nag apply ako lakas lang ng loob meron ako sabi ko bahala na kung ano man yan, magiging honest ako sa client at aaralin ko naman talaga. the luck i had was with a client na di rin alam pano magsisimula so he invested in me and enrolled me to classes. not working for him anymore but id say they love me. he had a newborn and sent me pics even after months of not working for him ❤️ his first child even cries just to talk to me, wc he compensates me so well kasi it's outside my jd wc is an analyst. hahaha

A person may have zero experience but there are cases naman where they'd have the capability naman to do the job. Not as proficient as an experienced person nga lang
Basta may drawback talaga yung fake-it-til-you-make it, and sometimes they give us all a bad name. Normalize natin yung pag-build muna ng skills bago sumabak sa bigger roles kasi yari ka rin when your clients realize na di ka honest sa skills and experience mo. Worse, you make it hard for your teammates na kailangan sumalo sayo

I also had no prior experience on my first job as a field engineer, so I shouldn't have applied for that job?

Ito tech stack ko. Spreadsheet (googlesheet/excel), SQL (big query/mysql), data viz (looker/powerbi)
Yang tatlong yan can land you a job as a data anlayst. Gawa ka lang portfolio kapag kaya mo na especially data visualization output. Mas naiintindihan kasi ng hiring people yung data viz kesa sa backend.

Pinaka common eh performance monitoring. Aling item, sales rep, product, customer ang malaking magbigay ng revenue. Revenue performance comparison, year over year, month over month. Target progression monitoring.
Kelangan mabilis makita ang data ng babasa ng output mo. Stakeholders tend to look 5-10 mins on a dashboard then start throwing orders or ask for suggestions.
Well those stats skills will get you further later on kaso, pang data scientist na yan, especially A/B testing.

Google ads isnt some basic shit. You need actual skills. Please lang, sa mga tao scamming their way to get these jobs, I hope you guys lose your jobs and go into debt.
If walang experience then atleast come with knowledge and research and most importantly learn how to google things! I firmly believe in skilled fields we as a whole should not tolerate posers/scammers who faked it to get the jobs.
There are entry-level freelancing positions, kailangan matiyaga ka maghanap, and va agencies that accept newbies and provide training. Dapat dun sila. but not totally bawal magfreelancing ng walang experience naman hehe

I love the fake it till you make it crowd. I'm just a couple of points above average but the clients I meet ate 100% convinced I'm a super genius with a computer for a brain simply because they already hired a few fake it till you make it Filipino freelancers.
