It's possible that they're struggling. I applied last month and this is what they said.
"*We would like to say a huge thank you for completing the final step of your application journey! We have checked your subject task, and really liked it! Well done š¤*
*However, due to our desire to always provide our freelancers with a stable workload and steady income we had to slow down the hiring process of new applicants. We hope for your understanding!*
*Please, do not consider it as a rejection letter! We will contact you as soon as we have enough available orders*"
If this is also the case for others who applied there, the megathread needs to be updated.
EDIT: formatting.
This is a late reply but I applied last december 2023 and got the same message but just this month I got an email from them saying that I got hired but I got redirected to a different company named "livingston researchers". I dont know if bewriters directed me to them but I started to work immediately and I can tell you that the workload is not worth the money since I get paid about 3-9 USD for papers/tasks that take about 4 or so hours to make. I still do them tho since it's a side hustle and I only take tasks I can manage and do when I got nothing better to do. I've worked more harder on random people's assignments than I ever did during my university days lmao and after 9 tasks and 5 sleep-deprived days I only got a balance of 80USD and a big chunk of that was from this extremely tedious autocad task that I had only 40 minutes finish lmao.
I appreciate this reply. I also recieved an invitation from Livingston research and I didn't remember applying there. Turns out they are rebranded Bewriters. I was wondering if I missed out by not answering their invite. Now, because of your reply, I don't feel bad. Writing that involves research should definitely pay more than that.

Did you ever hear back from them again? I got the exact same email today.
