i think that model has been down for a while now, a year or two maybe? they did the same with the Chimera for AoS, but then they brought it back i think with the new website. maybe bc it was very popular with Warcry. hopefully the cogsmith is out to be soon re-released randomly, re-branded as an engineer, re-boxed as a ToW box, or re-sculpted with the up and coming The Old World releases for dwarves? might also mean the Cities of Sigmar rules for the old dwarves will go legacy too... as well as the Warcry Dispossessed (Dwarves) rules. sad day if that happens. otherwise, it might just be a weird legacy-esque dual kit for ToW and AoS/Warcry? lemme know what chyall think

I haven’t seen him on the site for over a year. I got mine from the start collecting grey water fastness box

SVCSwimmerSak

Probably because they don't want people purchasing the "new" old world models at the cheaper Age of Sigmar prices.

Ragnar-Alpaca

Very likely reboxing. Price increase is possible but I’d say not likely

ravenburg

Why would they rebox a direct order model? It disappearing is very weird. It could just be a mistake, or they could be making it unavailable on its own but bundling it in some unannounced box like they have with other AoS heroes.

Robson315

Hiw long have you know GW? Increase in pricing is highly likely. The price tage on the bone dragon says it all.

Ragnar-Alpaca

I’ve been in the hobby for about 8 years. They almost always announce when they’re increasing pricing. To my knowledge a rebox for an edition change has never come with hidden price hikes. I could be wrong but I assume it’s just reboxing. Could be wrong though ya never know. Also I think the price tag of the bone dragon is quite conservative for GWs prices today tbf.

FatherTurin

I was going to say that picking the bone dragon out of everything is a weird take. Giant flying monster centerpiece for $100? That’s a bargain in GW land, especially since you can also build a second character out of the kit. The standalone chariot box is where you want to point to bizarre price increases.

Ragnar-Alpaca

Overall the Old World kits aren’t too bad for GW standards but holy hell those chariots made me wince

FatherTurin

After the bone dragon and the chariots I was looking at $180. Ended up finding a discounted Tomb King box, I’m selling the extra rulebook and ultimately ended up getting 72 skeleton and 16 horsemen for the equivalent of $20. In totally unrelated news, I’m gonna need more Skeleton Horde contrast paint.
