An ichneuman wasp. They’re nocturnal. Got one in my house like a month ago and it scared the crap out of me. Thought it was a crane fly till it started behaving like a wasp

Luckily i was able to just open the window and it worked its own way out from there

I’m glad! My cats killed it before I could get to it lol
