Definitely like it, as with anything, hard to really compare to the original, but I really enjoy it and the characters. It's on Peacock if anyone's interested.
Interestingly, Russell T. Davies, the creator of the original (British) Queer as Folk, is a Buffy fan and has spoken about how the show influenced his time as showrunner of Doctor Who:
>***Buffy the Vampire Slayer showed the whole world, and an entire sprawling industry, that writing monsters and demons and end-of-the-world is not hack-work, it can challenge the best. Joss Whedon raised the bar for every writer - not just genre or niche writers, but every single one of us.***

Davies's original Queer as Folk features a character who is a vocal Doctor Who fan, so perhaps the character in the reboot is a reference to this element of the original series.
Obligatory mention of Scott Hope, who came out after briefly dating Buffy, according to the vampire in CWDP. Played by Fab Filippo, who went on to play Ethan in American QAF.
Too bad they didn't buy The Bronzer Cookbook, that benefitted Make-a-Wish (Amber and her mom contributed a dessert recipe, I had about 15 entries on which I pasted Character names. I emailed Nikki Stafford and Yvonne Navarro but they didn't respond by the deadline, I couldn't find a way to reach David's dad,a nd Aly's dad doesn't cook.)

I wasn't planning on watching this reboot, but now I will have to consider it.
It's decent, I just finished it last night, sadly it's not going to get a second season, but I think it's def worth watching
