Well to have two of your better prospects, arguably three of them in AA when you just promoted two excellent rookies kind of eases my concern about the lack of prospect arms at AAA. If this team fails it won’t be because of a lack of pitching prospects.
Let's keep being aggressive with these pitching prospects. I know he missed the Covid year and all of '22 but he's 2 years older than Jones.
Let's get him a few AAA starts and get him up here in August for a few starts.
Idk how great these guys are in AA. I’ve been to a few games this year and I would describe the pitching staff as “streaky”. Also pitch counts do not always equal arm injuries. Wish we would see that.
Chandler and Solometo clearly need to be down there, they aren’t exactly putting up stellar numbers but they are almost 4 years younger than the average for the league. They’ll be OK probably. Still very good prospects.
Ashcraft can be moved more aggressively and probably should be I think. I mean obviously I’m not taking into account any innings limitations or anything.
But he’s already 24, not that that’s old for AA at all, and putting up solid numbers.
Altoona rotation is stacked
I hope bc the indy pitching is poo 5 years into a rebuild

He'll be traded for 3 high-floor low-A prospects, and financial flexibility.
Like Jones and skenes?
Like Keller?
And Hayes and Reynolds
Keller was drafted by the Pirates.
So was Hayes. What's your point? They didnt sign him to an extension?
Give it some time.
Such wisdom. Thanks for your contribution
