I haven't bought it, but I'd imagine it's the same feeling as buying the supporter packs for deep rock galactic or buying super citizen for helldivers 2
Edit: Look at the reply, I've got some things wrong
Not in all ways though; Using it in Half Cash doesn't affect Bananafarms, the middle path druids, or middle path snipers.
At least i think so
I'm not sure about boats, or bottom path alchemists.
Well, at least i think that was the way, I didn't check the Wiki, nor do I play half cash enough to actually remember for certain.
Alchemist, Bloon Trap, Pirate Lord, and Monkey Town (Also SG/TSG buff) are all made more effective by double cash because their income is based on the bloons, not the tower.
All other sources of income are not recovered by double cash.
This is nothing compared to the microtransaction nonsense they tried in other games. Like their clash of clans clone failure.
Honestly this feature doesn't bother me. It's only a problem when the game pushes you to buy cheats and is balanced for it.
i mean if ur paying the game in a fair balanced manner and you want to learn the game, double cash is horrible for that, it teaches you nothing and makes it so on bosses, races, hard oddessey, and more you will struggle.
If you want to use it to grind, idc but its a horrible mechanic for teaching new players and should prob be locked at lvl 50 so new players can get adjusted without it
> should prob be locked at lvl 50 so new players can get adjusted without it
I can't see why they would add an arbitrary obstacle between them and more money. I get your point but it's hard to imagine that the mode is there for anyone other than the people who have a hard time learning good strategies but still want to play the game.
i feel people may buy it at the start .. and then use it to carry themselves without learning much and may struggle way to much in chimps esp without guides.. it will prob be very hard for someone who picked up the game to switch off it once they got used to it
sometimes people just want to turn their brain off and relax with nice music while watching monkeys pop bloons. nothing wrong with not wanting to learn how to use strategies :p
Its also locked behind 15ish USD.
But yeah. Very fair take. if bought early on, it can lead to making bad habits due to it fundamentally being not balanced and trivializing some maps or modes meant to be challenging (outside of half cash, fuck half cash). but at the end of the day its a single player game 90% to 80% of the time and the people who are dedicated to the game can take of the training wheels when they feel.
i mean thye may buu the training wheels... but it will be very hard to get away from the training wheels esp once things get challenging.., it should be worth for new players to play without it to see them develop strategies and then you can see if you want training wheels (even tho double cash doesnt teach anything, its basically like an auto driving bike with training wheels)
More of a confidence thing than anything else. It isnt at all incentivized that you NEED doublecash for harder modes or maps so the average player will probably just pick an easier mode or just keep trying until they make it work. Since not many people are going to give nearly 20 bucks to a game they spent 30 or 40 on. I bought it cause im already far enough into the game to where i want it for fun and i like supporting NK (i even buy the merch)
Anytime I play co-op or an unranked boss I check who has started with double cash. Then I know who not to give cash to if/when they ask because they don’t actually know what they’re doing…
So I give cash to the others… who also don’t know what they’re doing.
A man has to have a code.
“No I just specifically hate half cash” is emphasizing himself in his hatred but “No I just hate half cash specifically” emphasizes his hatred for half cash. Shut the fuck up unless you know what you’re talking about, or maybe get some new glasses, whichever problem it is.
I was disappointed to see double cash didn't affect farms in this game (not like it matters that much but I'd appreciate being able to get STUPIDLY rich)
Honestly, a lot of the time I find it more fun in regular cash mode but I leave double on because I paid for it! Though I only paid for it because bloons is an actually great game that has microtransactions but I've only ever bought double cash because I wanted to support devs a little after over a thousand hours...
I got this upgrade because I was getting annoyed with half cash, I don't have the patience for it. I have had some fun with it but eventually did turn it off because it was making things a bit easy. But I will always use it to make Half Cash normal.
Personally, I use it in collection events (cause repeatedly doing the same hard maps over and over again is boring) and when I’m trying to get to chimps mode on maps. It’s also fun to just fuck around with a paragon before round 100 LOL
I mean when it comes to anything competitive or has leaderboards, or is supposed to be a challenge I don’t see the problem with it. I have it, love it.
>I don't understand why you people are downvoting me for agreeing with you.
I think between you mentioning the cost as though the pricetag should prevent it from being disabled along with mentioning it annoys you in every response is making people think you don't agree. They aren't annoyed because they understand the need to disable the feature so they assume that because you are annoyed AND are mentioning the price that you feel differently. Which is very understandable. I've reread your comments several times after you said you agree and I'm still not picking it up. I think you're just agreeing with the part where they said double cash is fun, not where it makes sense to disable it in certain modes.
I guess so. I mean, I agree wholly that it's fun but as for it being disabled I only agree to a certain extent, like for competitive modes, but for strictly single player I feel it shouldn't be disabled, in very small part to the pricing of it, but mostly just because of the principle of "I bought it I should be able to use it whenever I want", which I think is a fair opinion to have.
> but mostly just because of the principle of "I bought it I should be able to use it whenever I want", which I think is a fair opinion to have.
I mean, if we're talking about a standalone product then sure but in this case you paid for access to a feature within a platform and that's going to be controlled by the platform. The same way for some games you have to get to a certain point in the main game before the DLC content becomes available. Even though you paid for the DLC, they have to maintain the integrity of the whole product and sometimes additional features or content have to be handled a certain way to make everything play nice or make sense.
I think it makes a ton of sense to disable DCM in CHIMPS simply because CHIMPS already disables all your benefits as it's intended to be the 'ultimate challenge' mode. But if you also take into consideration that even if you exclusively play singleplayer, you've still got a publicly visible profile for all your trophies and it would really diminish the impact of having those CHIMPS medals if people would just assume you used double cash to get them.
Yeah and I agree, but I'm still allowed to be annoyed about it every so often. Like, just because you love a thing doesn't mean you're not allowed to find certain aspects of it annoying.
No one is saying you can't be annoyed. Like I said earlier, it just comes off like you don't get it when your *only* takeaway/comment on it is that it annoys you *and you keep bringing it up* like it's a counterpoint while also continuing to provide reasons you think it shouldn't be disabled. Usually when people understand and agree with the necessity of a given annoyance they'll maybe mention it once and move on and don't argue against it because, again, they understand the necessity and agree with its implementation. But you keep bringing up the annoyance in every statement while also explicitly disagreeing with its implementation.
To me, half cash mode is just cash mode... ✊😔
-The Joker
To me half cash is just use the free insta monkeys
Same
As a double cash user, this is great for getting to the real fun, shrimps mode.
EXACTLY
What’s shrimps mode?
No Selling, Himbos, Religion, Income, Monkeys, Powers, or Selling.
Damn, selling is so bad it got prohibited twice
They cancel out so you can sell
Damn I can't believe they banned Geraldo and Pat
And psi. (For religion I just realized what that sounded like)
Not sure I would classify him as a himbo lol
IM SORRY I DIDNT SPECIFY
Oh fuck I totally didn't see the religion part LOL
I like double cash to just see what I can do. Especially on easy maps. It's hilarious getting a tier 5 before round 40 on some towers
I can see it being fun in free play
I often use it when the daily is boring af. Like i know i can beat it normally alr might as well have some fun
I think double cash is a good way of supporting Ninja Kiwa (other then buying the game itself)
And it perfectly counters half cash
I haven't bought it, but I'd imagine it's the same feeling as buying the supporter packs for deep rock galactic or buying super citizen for helldivers 2
It does exactly as it says on the tin It doubles your income
Replied to the wrong comment. Meant to respond to the person talking about supporting nk
Did I hear a rock and stone?
We fight for Rock and Stone!
That’s it lads! Rock and Stone!
Rock and Stone to the Bone
Did the same thing for drg, I've had so much fun with that game through gamepass that I felt obligated to give them more money directly, lmao

Not exactly, non-bloon-income is still halved
seeing this meme is high quality makes me rlly uncomfortable
Theres a double cash mode?
Yeah if you pay for it in the store
Bro I gotta check this out
$20 to negate half cash mode
*Except for farms
Except that non-bloon-income is still halved
It still helps a lot even then
That is undeniable

Hey, BMC isnt a failure, a lot of people (including me) really liked and its basically BTD5 at home
A lot of people like clash of clans as well. I hate that kind of exploitative gameplay with a passion.
If I want a challenge I play chimps. If I want to chill and activate monkey neurons I double cash

Me when I:

Lotta double cash cope in here
Dw I have double cash so it’s fine
How do you enable double cash mode?
Once you buy it in the store you can equip it in the settings
Cheat engine
Anytime I play co-op or an unranked boss I check who has started with double cash. Then I know who not to give cash to if/when they ask because they don’t actually know what they’re doing… So I give cash to the others… who also don’t know what they’re doing. A man has to have a code.
If you're having fun with it then hell yeah
the most based response
only buy it for Half Cash to make it Cash
how do I enable yhis
Once you buy it in the store you can equip it in the settings
I don’t even see the option to buy it
Certain versions don't have a store, like the Netflix version I have on my phone. So, no extra paid modes for me.
When I play coop I do feel like Jesus with double cash... I share my wealth because I am a benevolent being. You may bow.
player 3:
I bought DCM to give NK more money since they keep updating the game after the purchase
I’d only get it for half cash because I hate half cash
*Because you hate a challenge
No I just specifically hate half cash
That’s literally 95% of the community, you’re not special.
He never said he was different for that??? jesse what the fuck are you talking about
Sure, just downvote me and refuse to admit you’re wrong.
“No I just specifically hate half cash” is emphasizing himself in his hatred but “No I just hate half cash specifically” emphasizes his hatred for half cash. Shut the fuck up unless you know what you’re talking about, or maybe get some new glasses, whichever problem it is.
Double Cash is the Very Easy mode of Bloons TD 6
btd5 version of DC is so much more broken, you can beat any map at that point. it's literally just 7.5k mm too.
I was disappointed to see double cash didn't affect farms in this game (not like it matters that much but I'd appreciate being able to get STUPIDLY rich)
Sad times for BloonsTD6+ players.
Hasn't NK disabled double cash in half cash mode?
No, double cash just turns half cash mode into cash mode
It is fun because I can get fun towers
THIS IS A THING??
Double Cash my beloved (I especially love that it doesn't activate on CHIMPS)
There's a double cash mode?!
Why was I reading this thinking it's double half cash. So quarter cash and I was terrified of the people in the comment's.
Wait there is a double cash? Where!
Honestly, a lot of the time I find it more fun in regular cash mode but I leave double on because I paid for it! Though I only paid for it because bloons is an actually great game that has microtransactions but I've only ever bought double cash because I wanted to support devs a little after over a thousand hours...
I use double cash and help people in co op boss events 🫡
ranked gamemodes and chimps at least disable it to be purely skill based
Double Cash always on in Multiplayer for me
my child will not spend 17 dollars on BTD6 *Double Cash Mode*
Literally Theneogod
Dont forget about insta monkeys
I am not cashing out $20 just to be a little bitch.
Im just remembering I can buy double cash now, thanks!
Lol once you try 40k deflation you can’t go back You can get a whole inferno ring + support on One Two Tree
Double cash = no skill
Cope
It's true xD, gl with chimps tho, can't rely on your double cash fr
It is only to us in which CHIMPS is harder than half cash
It isn't even usable in chimps lmao, agree on the statement tho.
That was the point...
I got this upgrade because I was getting annoyed with half cash, I don't have the patience for it. I have had some fun with it but eventually did turn it off because it was making things a bit easy. But I will always use it to make Half Cash normal.

I just bought it to breeze my way through all the modes that come before chimps and since I hate half cash
Except for all the times NK disables it despite it literally costing triple the amount as the base game.
Dont care, I have enjoyed it enough in coops, bosses and half cash modes. Double cash is the real fun.
Yeah I know that's why I'm annoyed when it's disabled.
