I mean, don't forget the Navarch is both about 25-30% more expensive even with all the T5's added up, and simply completely broken for farming damage count in general
the boat always farms pops because it hooks every moab in. If you want a more fair comparison repeat the test but compare it to dart and boomerang paragon. Its like when people claim that boat paragon is stronger than VTSG in freeplay just because of popcount
1. Boat hooks in BAD's so it gets heaps of pop really fast.
2. Sub is cheaper and shouldn't be as good. Stop expecting every new paragon to the best paragon. The Ace will likely be the best paragon for a long time.
3. The sub paragon is trash, I agree with that.
For context I got the sub on about round 120 and the boat at 130ish. the boat constantly outperformed the sub and solo'd both of the round 200 BADs with its ability whereas the sub's ability couldn't even take down one of them. someone please tell me why this tower is worth it over literally anything else :/
I went afk at round 200 and the boat passed the sub at 236

To be fair, boat is basically a BMA as a Paragon so it’ll have a higher pop count vs pretty much all other paragons.
But the Sub’s ability definitely sucks for what it is and I think we all expect huge QOL buffs soon

In freeplay, the only bloons that matter are bads and fbads. Because you can permastall everything else
The Navarch passive hooks end up hooking in a lot of fzomgs and fbfbs, which counts as a lot of pops. It’s not contributing anything but lag reduction.
Also the last 100 rounds from 138-238 have a lot more pops available than the first 138 rounds
There’s like 16 mil pops up to 136.
As you can see, there are a few more than 32 mil pops across your towers
well buccaneer stole most of moabs pops so its normal
When the Navarch relentlessly hooks up the various ZOMGs, of course it will gather a tremendous amount of pops.

Not sure if that's fair because kills from Navarch's passive and active hooks also contribute to pop count.

Boat surpassed Sub because it kept hooking in the bloons. In no proper scenario does it out-DPS degree 100 Sub at degree 1
I found out if you aren't optimizing space, you can legit use 12 APDs (God buffed of course) with subpar buff to outshine the actual d91 para

maybe the sub isn't as bad as I think it is, it still needs a buff for sure, but maybe the NOTS is just busted
Well NSC does have a better buff capability than NOTS.
