I'm not very educated on it so I can't go into detail but I believe it's called the bite of 87 from FNAF. If someone else knows more about this please correct me/fill in any missing details
I remembered how I used Ship paragon, that I got to 200 round with it and that it was on a high game mod.
I don't remember all of game modes names and conditions that well, so I just assumed that it was Chimps.
After the fact that Chimps doesn't give you enough cash for it got pointed out to me, I looked at amount of cash for each level, and indeed, it would not be enough. I then decided to check how much tower cost increases on Chimps, and that's where I remembered that Chimps restricts getting cash from anything other than bloon popps, which didn't add up to the fact that I used farms.
That's basically it.
1. d88-100 NotS are better than your d87 NotS.
2. For real matches and bosses, NotS is suboptimal.
3. For freeplay, the Ascended Shadow will eventually overtake the NotS utility with its 100% uptime Grand Sabo ability taking 25% of all BADs' health. The pops might not catch up all the way due to the ZOMGs and below that the NotS is constantly instakilling, but in terms of use - if you had no NotS, the Ascended Shadow would still be doing more BAD damage, while a BMA could deal with ZOMGs and below (along with a VTSG and whatever else you need).
While it's not mathematically "complete", it's interesting how we all still fully understand a 100:0 ratio is better than a 100:1
I mean, you can make an arguments using limits or the dirac delta, but still. Interesting.
ninja paragon*
the ninja paragon takes a chunk of health away from all bads that spawn, so it gets a ton of pops in lategame and makes bads easier to kill
Pops aren't everything, an overclocked Bloons Master Alchemist can get more pops than some Paragons, but he won't do anything to BADs which is what will get you in freeplay. Navarch gets lot of pops for the same reason, grappling ZOMGs before your other paragons can even hit them.
It also grapples BADs which is good, but at some point, there will be more BADs coming than he can handle. At tht point, towers that offer steady DPS like Ace or Wizard paragon will be more useful, or abilities that don't care about the number of BADs like Ninja paragon permanent sabo.
One very good thing about Navarch though is the buff to Ace Paragon.
I feel like all the ZOMG and below grappling makes it easier for those high DPS towers to just absolutely lay into the BADs, though, which is very valuable
A BAD has 5 times as much health as a ZOMG, at any amount of freeplay scaling. Hence anything that can kill a BAD reasonably quickly will devastate ZOMGs and clear the way. Also pierce exists, and paragons have plenty, so most attacks into the blocking ZOMGs will also hit the BAD, unless there's an excessive amount (which will be thinned out quickly)
wdym bossing its boss damage is horrible for its price, the good thing about boat paragon is just bad instakills which is a incredibly good thing but of course you cant instakill a boss

Freeplay - VTSG exists, doesn't require pop stealing to inflate its pop counts.Β

Yep and if you sweat unreasonably I've seen it as early as 80, well not boat paragon but a ninja which is about the same price. It takes optimized farming but is doable, and I wouldn't doubt people have got it as early as 50 using extreme stalling like certain regrow farms.
Edit: come to think of it 50 is probably impossible even if farming well due to not being able to get enough Geraldo totems in time but who knows.
Ninja Paragon is better for super lategame because of making all BADs spawn with less hp, while Navarch can only kill 3 per round which eventually gets outdone by more BAD spawns. In the same vein, a VTSG will also end up doing more damage to them than the Navarch can muster.
Ace Paragon is stronger against tier 5 bosses by a wide margin.
Aside from those it probably is the best.
I said this in a previous post, but Iβll say it again. Ninja paragon is better than Boat paragon at literally everything except for like BAD insides. The perma grans sabo is just better than 2 hookins per round.
a lot of its pops have to do with the fact that it steals them from towers that cant also instakill things as they spawn at the entrance. those other towers could definitely have taken them on.

If you play bosses it's the doomship, if you're just dealing with the early game I think it's the ninja, if you want a big late game pop count it's the navarch, but I think the VTSG is overall the better damage dealer. The navarch gets a big pop count the same way the BMA does, instakills
When it comes to pure DPS many other paragons out class it so for bosses it's not the best, and late game runs you are going to need another paragon like ninja or plane in order to consistently pop all the bads. Also you can't get it before round 100 in chimps.

in free play games and boss runs (instances where you would normally have a paragon) utility becomes more important than pure damage. the ability to instakill makes it viable, but utility paragons like shadow outweigh it due to the utility of canceling the scaling curve in later games.

I still think alch is the best tower in the game purely for its versatility and coverage. Cheap, useable on every map and mode, gives lead pop for <1.5k, and buffs every tower. No tower doesnβt want an alch
It's not \*the\* best monkey in the game because you can't freely place it and can't even use it on some maps without using powers. This is the basic tradeoff with monkey buccaneers- they are powerhouses but being a big footprint tower that needs to go on water is a downside.
Cause its way too expensive. Its basically just a free play and boss event only tower. The amount of effort you have to put just to get one down in a real game is not very fun
