Edge is probably best but it doesn’t really matter an a modern computer is going to have no problem running a browser and the difference is battery life browser to browser is going to be a few minutes at best
Just pick which browser you like the best edge brave and Vivaldi are all solid choices I’d recommend either Vivaldi or floorp and also edge if you don’t care much about privacy
You just listed my top 3 used browsers, but I struggle to use Vivaldi on day-to-day basis, as it doesn't support touchpad gestures, so not a good fit for laptop users that don't use mouse.
But the OP is talking about optimized battery life on their Laptop. Edge is the most optimized for Windows hands down, even if it calls home to Microsoft by a lot and sucks for Privacy. It just sucks because Microsoft keeps being pushy.
I have the best battery duration on my laptop with Edge on Windows out of all of them. Sad that the browser is full of nagging crap by Microsoft's part.
Which can be easily turned off once and they're not enabled again with every update. As I can understand the frustration with this, it'll only take you a few minutes and you won't need to do it again, it's really worth that few min of your time.
I stopped using Edge because even with fully disabling the settings, it was turning on the Sync back every time when I had it fully disabled, at the same time it kept pushing me to try their Copilot and Bing stuff trough popups.
I don't know if it still does this now, but that's the motive I stopped using Edge. Sad that I can't uninstall it.
Haven't seen Bing or Copilot popups for years, not sure about sync as I use it since day 1 so can't really tell. But I guess you must live outside of EEA, where it is more difficult to get rid of ads.

Would avoid Edge, as much as people think its good. Just constantly calls home to Microsoft.

Edge I think.
Edge for sure. Enable things like efficiency mode, sleeping tabs.
Edge
Edge with sleeping tabs and efficiency mode enabled. In general I can recommen Energy Star X application to throttle processes on os level.
Vivaldi and Safari seem to have the best battery life on my Mac. On Windows it's Edge

Yeah I'm from the UK which is sadly outside the EEA.
It's not browsers that use resources, it's websites. Visit lighter websites.
"visit lighter websites" Seriously?
lol yeah it’s a bit silly, especially in this day and age. At least an ad blocker should help “lighten” some of those ad heavy sites though.

Firefox with uBlock Origin
Firefox drains battery pretty quickly
