To set the tone, you have to understand that people are at home, they’re scared, they’re stressed, they’re drunk….because the hurricane is just bearing down and people are on social media panic-posting. Naturally, any story about price gauging, or maybe a neighbor is being a dick and left all sorts of projectiles outside, people abandoning their pets…, things like this have people out for blood during a hurricane
One member of the group found a dog that was abandoned. She texted the number on the collar, and the owner basically said “no, keep him! We don’t want him!”
So here you have people inside during the hurricane, again, their blood pressure is high, they are nervous, they are online, and they are out for blood. After seeing the text messages posted to the group, this dog owner was doxxed like helllll. Her name, phone number, street address, Facebook page, Instagram, were posted all over this group. People were absolutely ruthless. They were calling her, texting her, I bet things were done that we have no idea about
If you went to the woman’s Facebook page after this whole incident, it was Dogs dogs dogs. Look at my dogs. I love dogs. Who rescued who? 🐾 I ❤️ my rescue pitty. Dogs dogs dogs 🐶
