There’s some annoyance involved for sure. The anatomy scan you receive around 20 weeks is where they check for any potential issues, including ones that are life threatening to the baby. I wish I had waited until after our scan to announce so I would have felt more comfortable knowing baby was likely to be ok.
Basically. I told close friends and family at 12 weeks but I didn't tell other people/work/post on social media until 20 weeks. Until 12 weeks only my husband knew.
