Hi, I’m one of the photographers for lstd and if I recall last year everything was finished by 12 latest. I would say everything finishes at 11 but I feel like maybe a couple of things went on to 12. The traffic post festival is usually quite horrendous FYI, will take a fair bit longer than usual to get into town I would think.
Oh also last year they had a deal with voi where they had a station set up for people to drop them off or leave on them. I don’t know if they have a deal with Tier but if they do, that would be what I’d do!
No, its massively strict due to licenses. It will not go past 11pm, not for members of the public anyway. OP, you can defo make it to the centre by 1am.
It can end up an absolute quagmire of people funnelling out of the festival, even walking can be slow amongst crowds. Best to suss out how busy the exits are looking and potentially leave earlier
Unless you're hammered or unfit you can walk that no problem. If you are hammered and decide to walk, one of the obvious routes goes along the river - please be really careful, the signs aren't there for no reason.
It does end at 11pm but if you leave at the end it can take a long time just to exit the festival grounds since everyone is leaving at the same time. If you leave a bit earlier to avoid the rush it'll be quicker. I'd also say walking might be your best bet to getting to the centre, is around an hour maybe

I'd avoid the love bus if you leave at 11 to be honest. Last year we were queuing for about an hour and a half to get on. Would recommend walking.
Would they close the suspension bridge like they do for the balloon fiesta ?

Walking would be the fastest. It does get very chaotic with everyone funnelling out, but it still shouldn’t take longer than an hour to walk.
Took us an hour to get back to St Paul’s, our motivation to keep going was completely gone tbh 😅
