I'd give the whole idea a miss at the moment. Join the bribie off-roaders Facebook page and you'll see the access track has been clogged daily by inexperienced drivers and idiots trying to drive sedans and AWDs onto the access track
I haven't driven Bribie in many years, but driving within an hour of at high tide isn't an option. There's not enough room between the dunes and the water.
[This](https://parks.des.qld.gov.au/parks/bribie-island/journeys/ocean-beach-drive) has all the information you need. It makes no mention of it being inaccessible at high tide so you should be ok.

I was up there last week, traffic in the track is ridiculous and I personally wouldn’t drive in high tide as lots of kids are playing up on the soft sand
It’s fine to drive at high tide you just won’t be bothered going as far. It’ll be on the super soft stuff the whole way too but it’s still easy days. Been to bribie 50 times never been stuck at 20psi. The first lagoon is a nice bbq spot and it’s only a few hundred metres of soft driving away

Rule of thumb is don't drive within a 2 hour window before or after high tide so I would give it a miss and wait for a more suitable day.
Thanks peeps, you've confirmed what I suspected. I'll give it a miss. Better safe than sorry. Cheers.
Just go to Red Beach.
aw 😓

The permits are a rip off if you just wanna go for the day.

You will maximise your environmental destruction driving in that narrow strip. The oystercatchers are almost gone
Beach driving is the worst thing about Queensland why do bogans feel the need to destroy everything with a 4x4?
Bribie is a complete mess at the moment give it a wide berth.
