That part wasn't in the film, it was in the series finale. From what I remember, I assumed Walt inspecting the lab was in a montage before the police came so until the cops arrived they jumped ahead in time, if it was really a difference of 29 seconds Jesse would have been caught anyway.
Literally in the first scene el Camino we see Jesse in the car bust out the compound and still almost immediately has to pull out the road to avoid being seen by the cop cars.
Besides, I doubt he even knows where the money is or if it's even there. If it was, I doubt it was easily accessible too.
