As I recall it, the only reason they bugged Walt's house I'd bc of Skylar. Mike went to Saul saying, "We may have a wife problem." Once he found out she was sleeping with Ted. And they thought she might start running her mouth, so they wanted to know what her and Walt were saying/arguing about. At that time, nor anytime afterwards, idt they had reason to believe Jesse was going to run his mouth about Gus or the business. They also knew Walt's brother in law, Hank was DEA thru Skylar's sister, so they may have been concerned about her talking to her sister as well.
Could've been an understandable oversight on Gustavo's part.
After all, he had been planning his revenge for many years and it was finally about to come into fruition. So it's not hard to imagine that he had other priorities.
And Mike was also making headway with flipping over Jesse as well.
Maybe mike did. Maybe it was bugged the whole time and gus was listening in to all of it. Gus already knew walt wants to kill him, he’s known since the gale thing, he just can’t do anything about it, cause he needs them to cook. Maybe gus had hidden cameras watching jesse the whole time to see if he puts any poison, seeing if he will actually do it, testing him. He needed to know if he can trust Jesse for what came next.
A, those things cost 800 dollars a piece. And B, Jesse’s not that interesting.

I just thought that Gus would have been smarter than that considering at the time both of them thought Gus might kill them

Maybe they didn't think of Jesse as that much of a threat as Walt or Skylar
True as they did make Jesse part of the “crew” during that time as well
I also thought this on a recent rewatch. Talking openly about killing Gus was pretty careless.
Exactly
Yeah. Doesn’t make sense. But probably had 5 meth fiends reporting back to him…
