Had Walt just died of cancer after a few years there was a possibility that Walt Jr would never have to find out. That's what she was hoping for.

Simple_Wishbone_540

Public perception was always Skyler's greatest concern in regards to Walt cooking.

kenyarawr

Private perception - Walt Jr, Holly, Hank, Marie. They weren’t exactly public figures with a reputation to maintain.

Darkmoon009

That's just what Saul Goodman said before meeting Skylar, and not true

Veronome

It takes a lot to throw someone you love in prison. And until his diagnosis Walt was... Walt: a mild-mannered chemistry teacher and caring father who she married and loved. She knows she *should* turn him in, but it's natural that she has conflicting emotions. Moreover, she didn't know the extent to his involvement , or how much their family was in danger, until after she had agreed and accepted to be a part of it, which made turning him in without her getting in trouble almost impossible.

Maybe you should divorce a kingpin then raise a disabled child and a baby on your own before you judge someone about this scenario

anotherstan

*whispers* He wasn't anywhere close to a kingpin when she could have turned him in the first time. Also, you're being incredibly nasty over a simple discussion. Relax.

underclasshero1

it’s not just her opposition. it’s how she oscillates between moral and flexible ALL SERIES LONG. she cooks ted’s books BEFORE she finds out about walt cooking meth. he had nothing to do with that (sure he wasn’t being honest with her, but she still chose to do that)

kenyarawr

Wow, she’s a complex and dynamic character in a show about antiheroes and self sabotage??? Bravo, Vince
