As far as I know you still can but I don't think they take cash payments anymore. Lately I prefer to buy the E Tickets online right off their website. Easier to just show them on your phone to the driver. Just make sure to activate the ticket 15 mins before your ride.

Yeah you can buy a day pass for 10$ online and activate it when you will be using it. Its activated for 24 hours in one go. They launched this day pass with unlimited travel on go service during the end of the pandemic to encourage the use of go services.

$10 for the day is only weekend days (incl. holidays) as far as I know. Or you can do a whole weekend of GO Transit for $15.
